This is a good looking toaster ! It matches my other appliances perfectly and toasts 4 slices evenly. The toaster can defrost , toast on one side , etc , so far I toasted only and I am thrilled with the performance.It is a pretty big toaster mind you, so if you looking for something space saving this may not be for you . For me the style of toaster and the easy functions as well as the price were too good to pass up . And I know that Amazon Basics has my back should anything go wrong too fast . I expect this to last a long, long time as it is easy to keep clean. The slots are wide enough for bagels and thick bread. It defrosts too. I really like my new toaster, the matte black and stainless , I wish it would come with the pastry warmer !

Im very pleased with this basic toaster,($35.99) its light weight, looks very nice, 4 slice, wide slots for bagels, a cancel button. Toast nice n even. Has 7 timer setting. I like the size of the lever to push your toast down. The top metal plate on top of the slots shows a image of which way to face your bagel in. Heat distribute evenly.

I was looking for a basic toaster without a bunch of unnecessary features, and this one has been surprisingly reliable. The extra-wide slots are a huge plus because they easily accommodate thicker bread and bagels without having to force them into the toaster. The six browning settings make it easy to get the toast exactly how you prefer it, and I’ve found the results to be consistent. I also appreciate the dedicated bagel and frozen settings—they’re features I didn’t think I’d use as often as I do. I absolutely LOVE this toaster!!! The toaster is completely toasted, every square inch. Sounds great when you push the handle down. I've gone thru 3 toasters in the past 10 months. This one is the WINNER. Bella Toasters SUCK! ( & i don't like to say the word "suck")

If this is the only toaster you can afford, it’s not terrible. It toasts, sorta. One side of the bread is always way more toasted than the other side and it doesn’t seem to toast like others. If you’ve never experienced a great toaster, this is fine. But I would not purchase again.

The toaster has nice wide slots and toasts very well, even with frozen waffles. I removed 1 star because the cord is on same side as the controls which makes it awkward to use when plugged in.
