I bought these to replace worn our 9V batteries in my smoke/fire alarms. I go with lithium because they last a lot longer and I find they are more dependable than conventional batteries. And they minimize those bothersome "chirps" that tend to happen at 2:37 in the morning. I typically get name brand batteries, but those can be a bit pricey so I went with these. I've had these in my alarms for over a month with zero issues.
