Got these because I read good reviews (on site other than Amazon) about them. Just put them in my smoke detectors this week, to replace some much older 9V and some I had just replaced that didn't seem to last (all were other brands). Got tired of the middle of the night smoke detector beep (whoever programmed in the 'dusk to dawn' sensor should be put in a room with at least a dozen beeping units for a night) so decided to change all mine at once. So far it's been only 4 days but have gotten a full night's sleep. Time will tell how long these will last ... ... show more
