    • The magic voice mode and vocal elimination feature are amazing
I bought two mic at the same time. One is this one which is much cheaper; the other costs more (30+) with a carry case. Originally I planned to keep the more expansive model for myself and use this less expansive mic for the Yankee Swap present. After the side by side comparison of these two microphones, I decided to send that $30+ mic to Yankee Swap and I will keep this one. Why? It's much more feature rich although it's much cheaper than the other one I bought. It has a magic voice mode that can change your voice to high tone, low tone, etc. Very fun for kids. Most importantly the feature to eliminate vocals from the song that I played from my phone via bluetooth is super amazing. Some music may not have the Karaoke version but this mic magically made it a karaoke song for you. I don't usually write review but this mic really made my day today. I am so happy to keep it. I purchased this for my 6 year old goddaughter and what joy did it bring to her face! The win in this was that even her big sister who is 10 was excited. This is a great buy for having a fun party or just for kids to hang out and hone the budding singer within each of us! The microphone even though marketed as a toy is of great sound quality and built strong. It is very easy for those tiny hands to handle it. It lights up creating a vibrant ambience. Even their mom likes to get a chance at it on karaoke nights. It is very easy to use and portable easily to take with you for sleepovers etc. I highly recommend this product esp for the price and quality. This is our second attempt at this type of microphone as a gift for our granddaughters. What we ordered first, we were ashamed to give. We then ordered 2 of these and a couple micro sd cards. These are gifts for 3 and 7 yr olds. When these microphones arrives, I was pleased with how they felt solid. Charged them up and put a few songs on the sd cards (you don't have to use sd cards, but for the little ones it's gonna be easier than bluetooth). Next came the fun! The grandparents singing to the children's songs and having a ball. You can make your voice sound different in a few ways. Moving between the songs was easy.     • Great Starter for Pre-K Performers
My 4 year old granddaughter asked for a microphone because she loves to put on little singing performances. Until now, she has been using a spoon as a microphone, lol. She has me announce an intro for her, and applaud while she takes the mic and sings songs, mostly the theme song from Frozen, over and over. As long as you don't turn up the volume very loud the sound is pretty good. Right out of the box it easily synced up with my phone. There are tons of karaoke songs on YouTube. It takes a minute to adjust the music/voice ratio, but it isn't difficult. This sure has been fun to play with. Who knows? Maybe we have a budding superstar in our midst? Maybe not, but this toy is great for boosting self-confidence and getting over any fear of speaking/performance anxiety for sure! ... show more

Overall, this is a great mic for the price. The only reason I gave it four stars was because I feel like it could have given more directions on how to set up the Bluetooth / karaoke feature. I haven't tried it yet, I'm hoping it's not too difficult. And the other thing is you have to put your mouth right on the mic for the sound to be good. But when you do that, it's pretty loud and my son loves it... As do I. ... show more

    • Ha! Much Fun to be had with this Mic!
I've had this mic for a couple weeks now and its been a hoot! If you are familiar with how to pair a bluetooth speaker you will have no issue setting this up. The battery life has been fine- have used it for a couple hours on a single charge with no issues. There are plenty of 'karaoke' versions of songs available on youtube if ya want to see lyrics. Obviously for a device that is around $20 you need to have metered expectations- I've had fun with this mic and think it was a good purchase! ... show more

    • Very good for children who sing!
My wife and I got this for Christmas for our daughter. She loves to sing and is a good singer. This mic has really good sound quality and can hook up to my phone to allow her to record stuff. Furthermore, the mic has a nice built-in-speaker! We can listen to music and sing at the same time! She also loves the special effects, they are very comical to use! Overall, this was definitely worth the money and has done everything it says it can. Definitely a great Christmas gift! ... show more
