This longer ray 5 is super easy to setup. Putting it together took about 20 minutes, and getting something to engrave took seconds. I have used a different laser before and it was extremely difficult to use. You can't beat the value you get for this laser. I also had a small problem with the laser. I've loved this product from the moment I got it set up. It works great and I'm having a ton of fun with it, so I decided to upgrade my laser module to the 20w. had an Elegoo Phecda 10, and it was junk. It was so bad it po'd me 1 day and i picked up a hammer and beat it to pieces. My temper got the best of me, so I ordered a SWIITOL c18pro. It was good at 1st,then it would not cut melted butter. For 3 days I used every search on the web and found many peope asking the same, but no resolution. Never got a word from Swiitol either, so it sits in the corner now. Soooo, I ordered a Longer RAY5 20watt. Nothing, not a problem, it does exactly what it is told with no backtalk. I love it. It goes through 3mm acrylic like it wawsn't even there. Wood, my god I never imagined engravings and image transfer so good. If any1 needs Elegoo Phecda parts let me know, I have a few. lol THANK YOU LONGER! And, I did not lie, I pretty much destroyed it. laser head was lucky it flew off to the side.

If you are not an expert, do not buy this machine The assembly instructions are terrible. None of the QR codes gave us anything. Once together there are no operating instructions The flash drive with the software on it will not work The email to contact them gave me an error as did the phone number. You will have absolutely no support with this machine. So again unless you are already familiar with laser engravers I would buy a different model

The laser engraver is cool as heck. Been good if it stated you gotta buy the lightburn software. Or if it gave you a choice of adding it onto ur original order. Still cool thing to play wit

The media could not be loaded. This was very easy to put together and it works great. This is the best diode laser I have ever used. The cost is very reasonable.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. He just loves it. Played with it for hours the first day. Now he is dreaming up things to do with it. Cuts through thin wood if needed to make cut outs, but can also just burn the wood for a pattern. Metal etching was awesome too. Lots we have not tried yet but this was a great buy as far as I am concerned.
