Well-built metal push-up bars

There's an idea in popular psychology that it's the environment full of trigger that encourages habit formation, not strong will or reminders. With that mind I figured if I buy brightly-colored push-up bars and tie them to some specific trigger (like me going into the backyard), then I'll be doing some random push-ups here and there in no time. Instead of one defined fitness routine that takes time, I just use these push-up bars as a reminder to perform a few push-ups with no particular goal in mind. In a few weeks I went from max of 7 to a solid 12 (although I'm sure the progress will slow down as I keep the routine along). These are made of brightly colored metal with durable rubber ends for support. They provide all the tools you need to assemble them - a wrench and a hex driver. Once assembled (approximate time: 10 minutes) they're solid and don't really require any ongoing maintenance (although it's probably a good idea to tighten the nuts every few months). Comfortable bars with rubber non-slip grips allowing for deep push-ups where you can enjoy the shoulder stretch while attempting to reach the ground with your chest. My advice - start with half of your personal max, do that number daily at least twice for a week or so, then go up by one. You'll feel nice, and it's a compact safe convenient way to enjoy a bodyweight workout away from a gym.

Sturdy Enough for My Flailing Attempts!

Love these! Just FYI, the move in the product photo is not for beginners but don’t let that scare you off. There are tons of beginner calisthenics exercises you can do with these (just check YouTube!). I’ve been having a great time (and yes, it’s hard) trying new techniques and getting myself in shape. I’m not good at it yet but these bars make it fun. They’re sturdy, super easy to assemble, well made, a great price and they’re pink! What more could you want? They are easy to carry from room to room, I do this often, and aren’t very heavy at all. They are stable and worth the price!
