  • Professional SiphonBrew up to 5 cups of siphon-brewed coffee with this elegant glass coffee maker. Perfect for serving 3-4 people, the 5 cup capacity produces enough rich, full-bodied coffee to share. Make cafe-quality coffee at home to impress guests.
  • DurabilityCrafted using durable, heat-resistant glass and polypropylene parts, this siphon brewer can withstand daily use. The two-chamber design cleanly separates grounds from the final brew without leaving mess or residue.
  • Fully extractionThe consistent heat from the burner fully extracts flavor and aromatics for an exquisite cup of coffee. Water passes through the grounds multiple times during the vacuum brewing process, producing a complex, aromatic brew that's never bitter or over-extracted.
  • CustomizationTake full control over the brewing process by customizing water temperature and coffee ratio. The open design allows monitoring brew strength and stopping the brew when desired doneness is achieved.

A bit hard to figure out but once you get it right, GREAT WAY TO BREW COFFEE
Style: TCA-5
First issue for me or anyone with neuropathy. The Chain is very hard to grasp. Also, the instructions either written an employee of the company or translated from Chinese make no sense. Get an enlargement of the pictures and you will figure it out. Your grind needs to be espresso or Turkish coffee grind. Donā€™t start out with a ton of coffee. Also, 5 cups of coffee is about a demitasse cup, not an American mug. The spring on the filter has a little hook that goes over the edge of the glass pipe. This is what holds the filter in place. ... show more

Bottom blew out

Only had this thing a couple weeks, at most. The bottom blew right out of it, and Iā€™ve barely used it. Maybe 4or five times.

A Bargain
Style: TCA-5
Low price, but works perfect for coffee that brews at high temperatures. For coffee that extracts idealy at lower temperatures I recommend pour over makers. The vacuum process can only work at boiling. Also, a butane heater is much more convenient and efficient than the supplied alcohol burner. I use a water heating kettle to preheat the water thus making the process quicker. Otherwise, you must wait for your heater to get the water up to boiling temp. ... show more

it takes a long time for water to boil and get to the coffee
Style: TCA-5
I like syphon coffee and have been using the electric one for a few year. I order this one to see if it can replace the electric one. The answer is NO. I learned about this and boiled water before put in this. Still, it took forever to get the water back to boiling and starting to move to the upper container. Not recommend to use the alcohol burner unless you have a lot of time to wait. ... show more

Unbeatable price!

For the price it can not be beat. The fit and quality is not quite as good as a Hario... but it produces just as good of a cup of coffee.

Replaced my coffee pot

I really like this. It makes tea and coffee taste great and is easy to use and clean. It makes getting a nice hot cup of something a lot more fun also
