I installed several of these on the rails of my Hewescraft for salmon trolling. They were easy to get into a good position and attach firmly to the rails with no slipping or vibration once the screws are snugged down. Dont be afraid to purchase these. I was after reading others experiences about these. I needed 4 but, purchased 2 to test. They are solid. I Couldn't be happier. You cannot beat the price. The finish is top notch and they clean up well. My boat stays in a slip in the ocean so it doesn't come out the water. They look new and shine like they were fresh out the box. I keep them polished after everyday day fishing. No matter the material you must take proper care. They dont slip out of place when mounted correctly and tight. I changed the hardware to a better stainless steel. I would suggest that. Ill update on these after more use. ... show more

Installed these on the fender rails on my SD2200. Holds rods securely. They look very nice. Have not yet gone fishing with the boat so we'll see how we'll positioned they are when we get a line wet.
