The box arrives and I was curious how such a small package held a chair. Everything fit nice and flat packed. It took about 30 minutes to put together, and the instructions were clear. No having to guess which direction to face a part as it's all in the pictures. It's sturdy and holds at least 200bs without a problem, though I wouldn't go jumping on it. The bottom cushion is firm, which for me is good, but still has enough padding you don't feel the springs. The back is a little short I think. I'm 5'9 and the back only comes to the base of my neck when it's in a seated position. Not a big deal for me but some may care. We picked this up for my daughter's game room so I can start replacing broken chairs older than I am. The reclining ability is only motor controlled, no manual arm or springs. You'll need a place to plug in a wall adapter. It takes its time to fully recline or retract, maybe 20 seconds or so. Good for me, enough time to chase cats out from under it while it's closing. Overall I'm happy with this and will be buying a second one to match and replace the other old busted recliner, so far so good!

This is a unique chair. It took my husband about an hour to build with very shoddy instructions. He basically had to use intuition and figure out how the chair should look to be able to put it together. Although the chair is sturdy and relatively stout, I have concerns that after some time the cushions will flatten and we will be able to feel the frame-which has happened in the past with two other chairs we ordered from Amazon. The material is soft but that's where my affection for the chair ends. I'm almost 6 ft tall and my husband is 6.4. When we sit in this chair and push our back flat against the back of the chair our feet stick up like a little kid in a chair too large. If you are shorter than us you would not have this problem I hope. They're is no convex lumbar support that I've seen in other chairs; even the cheapest recliner I've bought had some lumbar support. That's why I was surprised at the back of this chair. It is literally straight and flat all the way down into the seat. That's part of the reason it allows the body to slide all the way back. As for the motor function, it does work but it takes about a full minute to recline which is fine if you are elderly. We were hoping for a recliner we could just hop in and kick back in. This one moves very very slowly into the recline position. Once in the reclined position, the lack of convex cushion in the lumbar support is even more exaggerated (maybe this is just an us problem because we both have low back trouble) and the spine lays perfectly flat while struggling to maintain that natural curvature in the spine. It's just not comfortable at all. We don't enjoy sitting in it since our legs stick out and we don't enjoy reclining in it because it doesn't support our low back. The reason for my title is I think the chair could be good for someone who has low expectations for a recliner. Our expectations were too high therefore we were disappointed.

Absolutely great recliner! To start, everything is shipped in one box and is easy to move across rooms. Instructions were clear and straightforward, and each part and bag was labeled to make everything super convenient. The recliner itself is also great. It's comfortable and provides plenty of support, although I'm going to throw a cushion behind for personal preference. The whole system, including the reclining control, also feels very durable. My daughter has been jumping on it and playing around with the controls for a while and I'm not worried at all. The only few MINOR complaints I would throw in: -only includes 99% of what you need to install everything, you still need scissors to cut two things -there's nothing to completely cover up the back flap But honestly, 10/10 recliner at a great price!

First, I like to say that I like the recliner. Like everything else in the world, it has it has it pro's and con's. The recliner was fairly easy to assemble. It took roughly 1 1/2 hrs for me to complete it. The instruction manual was predominately made up of illustrations with very little words. Perhaps, the manufacturers could improve on that. The recliner is made of cloth and not fake leather. This is a plus in my book. It is soft and durable. The cloth has a very good feel and rugged enough so I don't slide off of the recliner. Also, I liked the dark navy color. The recliner has 3 positions. The first is as a chair. The second one is a reclining position about 40 degrees. The third position is almost lie flat. The chair does not swivel. There is a motor which changes the position of the recliner. Its a nice extra. But, when there are more moving parts, my experience is that it breaks easier. The con's are the seat sits too deep. Its close to 22". I am 5'8" and my feet couldn't touch the ground. I plan to add some lumbar back support. The chair is also narrower than I expected. Overall, I like it very much. I took off 1 star because the recliner does not swivel and the dimensions of the chair was suboptimal, at least for my height and weight.
