I have been using it for 3 weeks and so far, doing the job at a fraction of the X3 price. The X3 is bomb proof, this seems to be well made and getting the job done. It’s wider than the X3, which is the primary reason I bought it. That it’s way cheaper, certainly helped. Knurling is good, I wear gloves , so I don’t notice if it’s to aggressive. Stable and sturdy.

I have tried several bars as they seem to have taken center stage in the growing band-using community. There are two that I especially liked and this is number 1. I believe it is as close to bars that other companies are selling for hundreds of dollars. This bar is sturdy, versatile with its various lengths, well built, and anestheticly pleasing. It just looks great. It FEELS great in my hands too! You have to love the work out equipment you have if you are going to really use it. I get excited about this piece and I really enjoy using it! It feels like we'll built barbell! Fantastic. I can do a slew of excercises with this. I especially love bicep curls ( Just WOW!) Upright rows and shoulder presses. I would buy this again if I ever were to lose it. It comes in 3 parts which truly makes it both innovative and excellent for travel. The movements are buttery smooth-no friction and they aren't jerky. I highly recommend this bar whether you are a beginner at band training-or advanced. You won't be disappointed.

Very good bar which is further enhanced by the additional attachments that can be purchased separately. Good knurling for grip and big strong hooks for the bands. All comes in a nice protective case too making it very portable. My only slight criticism is that the hooks can loosen during exercise so need to be checked regularly as they can undo very slightly. Other than that a great alternative to more expensive bars.

Excellent value for the money. Well made. I like the ability to lengthen/shorten the bar. The only issue is that the connections at the hooks loosen slightly after the exercises. Not everytime, but need to check the connections before every set. Other than that, highly recommend.

The Geku bar's quality is amazing. Only thing I'm not happy about is it's full of dents, this is the 2nd time I got the bar. The first one has 2 dents, the replacement had more dents. I will return this and order for the 3rd time

SAFETY ISSUE BEWARE. Just as another person said, the hooks keeps coming loose. This is a safety issue. I have to keep tightening the hooks after each set. The hooks do not appear to be on a bearing system. I had to use WD40 to keep them lubricate. The knurling is nice. The portability is a huge selling point. It is the only reason I keep the bar. I hesitate putting a huge load on it because of the hooks.

Geku Fit's newest aluminum bar is by far the best resistance band bar on Amazon. I've purchased practically every resistance band bar on Amazon that uses a hook and Geku's original resistance band bar was the best one in terms of strength, durability and smoothness of use. Geku's original resistanced band bar was not perfect though in that the original hook size could have been slightly larger and it had some rough edges where the hooks are bent. I've never had an issue with it tearing a band but I was always concerned these sharper corners would wear down my bands over time. This new aluminum bar completely eliminates those problems. The hooks are rounded off smoothly with no rough edges and the hooks are also larger. I've done deadlifts with a reputable band that has a range of 90-230 lbs and the bar has been rock solid. The knurling feels great and it really feels like I'm using a bar you would find at a commercial gym. While being pretty happy with the original Geku bar, I was always still interested in the very expensive resistance band bars sold outside Amazon that easily cost 5x-10x as much. After purchasing this Geku aluminum bar, I no longer have any interest in those other bars. Update: March 16, 2025 - After working up to doing stronger banded deadlifts, the original hooks from my purchase had started to bend open slightly a couple months ago. I reached out to Geku and they informed me they upgraded this product with new stronger hooks and I can confirm that the newer stronger hooks have not bent at all even using the strongest band I own for a deadlift (orange heavy rated 110-330 lbs).

Wife got this for my birthday. It’s sturdy and makes resistance band training more effective for sure ! Well worth the money. I don’t understand one someone wouldn’t get this instead of the super over priced 3 X or X 3 bar whatever it’s called .
