I ordered aluminum blinds because the plastic ones they replaced melted in last year's heat wave, and because I couldn't find aluminum ones locally that fit. The only problem I encountered was that my window frame proved to have holes from at least three previous sets of blinds, which affected the spacing of my mounting clips. It would be nice if clip design was standardized so that we didn't have to keep drilling more holes in the future.

I like the small vendors assistance confirming my measurements were correct. The blind arrived well packaged. The paint was high quality powder coat and the blind had quality metal tops and bottoms. Smooth operation of the blinds themselves. It took me a couple minutes to sort out how to put together and attach the rod. I needed the brain exercise any way. Highly recommend. good value/quality.
