Light weight, fits perfectly with my Newport trolling motor 55 lb thrust. I had to make a custom mount because my kayak didn’t have one. Get 4-4.5 miles per hour with wind at my back on my inflatable 130 Blackfoot. Lip around side and top of mount keeps it from sliding off.

Broke the first time I was out. Using a 30lb minn kota trolling motor. I dont know if they welded this but if they did, all of their welds failed. Cant recommend this product. Thankfully I noticed before my motor fell into the lake.

This Aluminum Kayak Trolling motor mount is a pretty awesome setup. I love the fact that it is saltwater grade, made of aluminum and a nylon or plastic transom. I don’t have any worries about it rusting. I live down by the coast so that’s a real concern if you go out much. Now I don’t have to fight the current as hard to get out there. All I have to do is drive the trolling motor. When that goes out, I still have my battery. This will fit perfect on my kayak, and I am really excited to have it.
