Arrived in decent condition. Lots of dirt to clean off but no harm to the plants. I got the 24 pack which included 12 varieties. The soil they are planted in is not ideal for long term. It retains too much moisture. Many/most were also too deep in the soil. Probably just to get the roots on the new plants started but I would re-pot within a couple of weeks. I waited longer on a few and the bottom leaves had rotted. Overall a good value, interesting selection (at least for me - it don’t have many succulents) and I would buy again. Pictures with all their available succulent options and a way to identify and mark the ones you have received may be a good idea and encourage people to buy more. I don’t want to place another order and get the exact same plants. If there are a lot more different plants available, I might order again just to see what o can get different. ... show more

They're all so cute. Only 1 had a label to say that the web was normal on that plant. I'll have to look them all up with Google Lens or a plant app. I got 20 plants and 2 of each kind, so I got 10 different kinds of succulents. All of the plants were healthy and look great. The plants had a few bits of perlite and dirt on them from some jostling during shipping, but I used a water color brush to brush them off of the leaves. I think I've put in about 8-10 orders with Altman this winter, but these are the first succulents that I've gotten from them. So far, all of my plants from them arrived in perfect condition. I think it's because I never let the box sit outside in the freezing weather. It was barely 40°, today. I take the box directly from the UPS delivery driver's hands or as they get back inside their truck. I took a picture of the 10 different kinds that I got. I ordered a new box. I think all of them are different from the first box except for maybe one or two of them. I do wish they came with labels. One pair in each box did come with a label, but I have to research the rest of them. They dont even have to send tags. They could add a picture to the description of all the kinds that they sell with a name under each picture. Plant apps don't always show the right names when I look up my plants. I just got my 3rd box of 20. The plants were perfect as usual, but they got jumbled around this time and had soil everywhere. If I didn't have any fuzzy succulents in the box, it wouldn't have been too bad. I had 6 fuzzy ones in this box, and I have to brush out all of the soil and gravel. I'm still happy with the plants. This is my first order from Altman that was handled a little roughly. That's pretty good for probably nearly a dozen orders of their plants. ... show more

These are a great value. I received healthy and undamaged plants but with no soil in the pots. It had all dumped out into the box. They were totally dry but I don’t know if that matters with succulents. I waited to repot for a couple of weeks to let them acclimate. They seem to be doing well so far. I am new to growing succulents so we shall see… ... show more

I was super skeptical when I saw the small box these were delivered in, but let me tell you this was a great purchase. The box was small, but it just insured that the succulents were packed tightly and safely. I even think one box was probably turned over during shipping, but it didn’t matter as the succulents were fine. Great variety and all healthy. I put these in little pots that I also got on Amazon and we will be using them as administrative professional’s day gifts for staff. Would buy these again in a heartbeat. ... show more

We just received our order and I'm very happy! The plants were packaged very well with brown paper and also brown paper crinkle strips holding them in place. There was no dirt falling all over in the box or anything. I just tried taking one of them out of the box and it appears that they are traveling with a bit of compacted dirt around the root balls. Beautiful plants! The colors are great! They all appear to be very well taken care of, sturdy, little plants. I am very happy with them. Of course one could always want more variety in a variety pack but I think what they have sent me will look stunning around the main plant that I have that will be put in the middle of the pot. The plants were also received in a very timely manner. I will gently plant them tomorrow and if there is any change in the plants I will update my review. The media could not be loaded. I wanted to try my hand at a succulent vertical garden repurposing an old frame. I ordered a set of 20 2-inch succulents from two sellers. This assortment of succulents was my favorite set because there were 2 each of 10 lovely varieties with a range of colors, the perfect mini size for my little garden and they were in great condition/quality. Some pots has two succulents in it and, when separated, I ended up way over 20 plants. I enjoyed making my succulent garden and can't wait until the plants root. I recommend this set for party favors, succulent gardens, any project where a beautiful assortment of mini succulents in excellent condition is needed. I will circle back to update my review after some time if the plants don't survive. But so far, I'm thrilled. ... show more
