I missed the Alterna Bamboo line and asked the company for a product that could provide similar benefits to the Bamboo Full Spray... they suggested this. It's quite different in it's use, but a wonderful product to have in my hair care line. I have hair that has thinned out over the years, female genetic hair thinning, and do everything I can to protect and support what I have. that means eliminating products with drying alcohols, which are hard to find. I start off my routine with Bumble and Bumble 'Go Big' thickening treatment on wet hair, mostly the top, comb it through, let hair dry a bit, then spritz a bit of Garnier Mega Full on mid-lenths to end to give them more density. I use the *cool* setting of my blow drying to remove excess moisture from my hair (fine hair is so porous moisture makes it look worse) and as I'm blow drying, upside down, I spritz in this product through out. the moment it hits, my hair gets an added feeling of fullness, while also soft and shiny. I use Boost and Blend hair fibers to fill in thinning areas and I'm set. (Boost and Blend are far and away the best fibers on the market) It sounds like a lot but it's really all fairly quick-a spritz here, spritz there, final sprinkle and my confidence is back. Hope this helps others.

I found this product to be so-so for my thick, color treated hair. It has an okay scent. It does leave some texture to my hair but even applying it on damp hair, it seems to have patchy coverage that feels more like hair spray. It leaves my hair feeling more tangled than I like. It does give some texture that adds some volume but overall the coverage needs to be more even. The label boasts a "vegan botanical caviar" ingredient but I'm not sure what that is, other than marketing jargon. Not a keeper for me.

This product is nice for adding some texture. I have long, thick, wavy hair and I like to use this if I am going for a messier look. In particular, I use this spray after a day at the beach if I want to keep the beachy look, or if I am a day or 2 after washing and need to add some volume/texture to my hair. I wouldn't say it smooths my frizz or defines my curls. It doesn't leave me with a "hard" feeling like hairspray would, which is great, but you can feel that there is product. I can't quite put my finger on what the scent is - its not flowery or sweet, but I like it. With my hair type, I wouldn't say this product is a "must" but I will keep using and would recommend for someone with thinner or finer hair to try if they are looking for a thicker or fuller look.

The bottle leaked a little during delivery but no mess since it was shrink wrapped. This texture spray is thin like water, has a nice fresh scent, and is easy to work through my damp hair. I let my hair air dry and it had some body and lift. It seems to work best on a day I don’t wash my hair. This is very light and makes a subtle difference to my hair. The way the top of the pump is shaped my finger fits best when the nozzle is facing the wrong direction. It’s a very nice spray - fine and plentiful - but it’s easy to miss my head. Nice product but the packaging could use some work.

I found this Alterna Vegan spray helpful in allowing my hair to keep its natural curl and texture during the heat and humidity of summer. I don't bother most of the time, but it's nice to be able to keep my hair down sometimes. This spray helps keep my curls from getting too frizzy or flat. I did find the spray bottle a little harder to use than I prefer. I think they've made their bottles so cute that they forgot to keep them easy for the fingers and hands. Still, a nice product well-worth trying.

This stuff smells really good and is lightweight while still being thick enough to be effective. This brand never disappoints me, and this product is just another win for the company. It’s all cruelty free, vegan products, and they work wonderfully. I work a little bit of this into my hair after I get out of the shower to add a little more volume and more consistent curls. I don’t have very curly hair but it helps to bring out the natural curl in my hair without making it feel stiff or weighed down.

Alterna's Texturing Spray comes in a small plastic bottle with a pump on top. The spray has a pleasant floral scent. It keeps my hair nicely in place under most conditions, but this spray isn't strong enough to keep your hair in place under windy conditions. It does help your hair recover well after it gets blown about. All in all... a nice everyday spray.
