The LazyDaze Hammock has been great for my outdoor space. This double rope hammock is nice for relaxation and sits perfect for enjoying quiet moments on my patio. Whether used alone or shared with someone, it offers a comfortable and inviting place to unwind. The hand-woven cotton rope is beautifully crafted, providing a soft yet sturdy surface to lie on. The spreader bars on the ends are a good feature, keeping the hammock open which is supposed to make it easy to get in and out. With the included chains and three straps, setting it up is quick and adaptable to various spaces, whether between trees, patio posts or on a stand. The hammock is spacious enough to comfortably fit two people, making it versatile for solo lounging or sharing. It feels lightweight yet durable, allowing it to hold up well with regular use. I’ve had several hammocks in the past which I have bought while on vacation abroad, and none have had the spreader bars which is an English concept, specifically with sailors in the Royal Navy dating back to the 1590s. Originally my experience has been with longer hammocks without spreader bars, it does keep it simple and safe because if the spreader bars are not correctly made or placed -it can cause the hammock to be less stable, mainly with beginners that are not used to using a hammock. Therefore, consider following the High Strength and Safety Chart on this product listing to insure proper installation to avoid tipping over. You will also need to consider that this hammock being made from cotton will stretch after using it a few times which will require adjusting how it is hung. Also, try to keep it stretched but without tension at all times and at a proper height comfortable to be able to sit on. Nonetheless, for anyone looking for a well-crafted, great looking hammock with a max weight limit of 450 pounds, and combines comfort and functionality for up to two people, this LazyDaze Hammock is a good choice. I ordered this hammock to replace one-person, camping-style hammock, so we already had a setup between two trees to install a hammock. That means the hard part was already done. The spacing between the trees is just shy of 11 feet apart. Fortunately, with a few small adjustments to the existing setup, I was able to install the hammock in such a way that it would not drag the ground when somebody gets in it. In other words, it just barely fits in the place I had intended, but oh boy am I excited. This is a GREAT hammock. It is so incredibly comfortable, and looks good too. It's wintertime right now in my area, and I cannot resist already using it in spite of the cold and cloudy days. It reminds me of the times when I was a teenager living in a rural area, I often monopolized the family hammock in the woods out back. I could lay there for hours listening to my walkman and sneezing because of all the coniferous pollen, until someone kicked me off. Lol. Except for color, this is so much like the hammock I remember though this one is even more comfortable. And I get to have it all to myself if I want to. The cotton ropes are very soft and cradling to the body. It stretches gently without having too much slack. The hammock netting is thick and appears durable enough to withstand some elements, though I intend on bringing it inside a shed during nasty weather. I have not had it long enough to know how well it holds up after getting wet and drying. At the current price of $63, it is an excellent value. I definitely recommend this item if you have the space for it, as well as having access to a sheltered area you can move it to when weather gets bad.

I’ve been wanting a rope hammock for the longest time, and when I saw this one, I couldn't wait to try it! I previously had a hammock without spreader bars, and every time I got in, I felt like a burrito. This one solves that problem with well-made wooden spreader bars, plus it comes with straps, chains, and carabiners, making installation a breeze. Just make sure to measure if you’re hanging it between two trees. The ropes are thick, well-woven, and feel very sturdy—like they’ll hold up for a long time. They’re also soft to the touch and comfortable to lay on. It’s large enough for both me and my husband to relax in at the same time, and the wooden spreader bars seem high quality as well. I’ve had white rope hammocks in the past, and after spending time out in the elements, they always started to turn a tannish gray. This one is already tan, which I hope will help prevent those appearance issues over time. Even though it’s winter, we lucked out with a few warm days and got to try it out. It was so comfy and supportive, I actually fell asleep in it! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a sturdy, comfortable, and well-made hammock!

This hammock comes with everything you need to attach it to a couple of trees or to a hammock stand. It is supposed to be "built for two" but be aware that it should be two medium to small adults. My daughter and son in law can fit in the hammock reasonably comfortably, but my husband I, both being large, know better than to even try. I try to remember to bring our hammocks in during bad weather, but I will occasionally forget. I guess time will tell if the rope and wooden spreader bars will hold up to the weather.
