I have naturally curly hair, roots get oily & ends get dry, humidity makes me extra curly and frizzy. So I have used this product in multiple circumstances: -My hair looked decent the 2nd day and I tested it first thing in the morning and it helped smooth out the frizz and I reformed the couple curls that were frizzy. Normal work day (middle school art) and it held up OK, a bit more frizzy by the end of the day then normal but not bad. -Camping & kayaking...this did not hold up well. I did a spritz to rejuvenate the curls and smooth frizz, put in a pony tail. But the frizz looked like a crazy halo and I tried to re-spritz but it did not work. -Had a dinner event and just needed to refresh my hair. It looked shiny, health and smooth. ... show more

    • Nice lightweight hair oil
This is a great lightweight hair oil that I like to use on the ends of my hair. I pump two sprays in my hands and apply it that way rather than spray on my hair. It makes my hair shiny. I think this is unscented or so lightly scented I haven’t noticed. I’m fairly sensitive to smells.

In my opinion, this is 100% not a dry oil. This is just like other products they carry where you pump the oil/ serum out and apply it with your hands. The only difference with this one is that is does spay evenly in a mist, but the end result is the same. I have used a dry oil aerosol by Redken and that is what I was hoping this was but it wasn't. The product still does what it says with regards to taming flyaways and frizz and smells great! I only gave 4 stars because it is a bit oily and not a dry oil as it states ... show more

    • Expensive, sprayer button does not work properly. Just OK product
The product is ok. It is expensive and you would think at the price Alterna charges the sprayer would work correctly. You spray it and have to pull the button up manually. It doesn't really have any scent which is ok but I really liked the Bamboo Dry Mist spray which smelled fantastic, the price was right and it was overall a great product. Alterna does not sell it anymore replaced by this much more expensive product. ... show more

    • Spray pump dysfunctional, product is fine
I've used this product before and know that I like it/it works for me. My issue is that the pump doesn't work well - once it is in the down position, it doesn't come back up to be sprayed again; I need to do it manually. Not a really efficient way to use a hair product. Maybe that's why it's cheaper on Amazon. ... show more

    • Great product, bad bottle
I love this product. It adds shine to my curly hair, cuts down on frizz and is a heat protectant as well. It also smells amazing! I tried this first from Birchbox and decided to order on Amazon. The disappointing part is the the spray pump on the bottle doesn’t work (at least on the one I was sent). It gets stuck, and I have to pull it back up to get more than one spray from it.     • Didn’t work for me and the sprayer doesn’t work properly.
I tried to return this product because the sprayer malfunctioned but Amazon wouldn’t accept it because it’s flammable.
