I ordered this Pea coat to have a casual jacket with a different finish and look to wear for different occasions and when it arrived I was immediately impressed with how it looked. I could say that it almost was a bit more than casual. As a prior military and a person who has worn a uniform for most of my life in various jobs I am a little less hipster and more disciplined to a particular look for specific times and this jacket fills one of those voids. it has a nice feel fits well when the right size is acquired, the grey color is a perfect mid grey, not to dark and not to light. its lighter weight is perfect for clubbing, the movies or whatever wear you choose. It is never out of place. I did notice that certain buttons were very loose and so before taking any adventures out I tightened them up and on one bottom button added a security back button like the others had. The inside breast button was a little harder since threading couldn't be made directly through the fabric but was easily tightened down by some creative stitching. All in all from a military jacket lovers standpoint this is a great jacket for the money. The first one I ordered was size Large. To large for me in my opinion since the chest was a little to roomy. I re ordered a Medium and am happy with that fit. now I will see if my son wants the large before I send it back. Jackets range differently by style, material, and manufacturer so don't be disgruntled, try one size and then adapt from there. So happy to finally find a coat that fits well!! Spent months looking for a coat that has sleeves to actually fit longer arms and not as wide as a house. This is an XL. He is 6 foot 4 inches tall and weighs about 230ish. (I think) It is not too flashy, and a good quality for the price you pay. We don’t wear fancy coats all the time, but for a nice out to dinner once in a while I call this coat perfect. Just needs a little steam to iron out the wrinkles and good to go! For everyday use, I’m sure it will be fine but still unsure how long it would last with wear and tear. I also got a women’s jacket in this brand and was also very happy with it. ... show more

Excellent lapels, good feeling material, but the lining is not quilted, so it's not as warm as other peacoats. For the price this is an excellent find, but I would prefer a more robust lining.

I bought several of these for the boys and men in the family for Christmas. I was really worried quality wouldn't be great since they weren't as expensive as others. But they fit my budget perfectly for all new dress coats. I was nicely surprised. The coats are well made and true to size. Leaves a little room where it can be layered with sweaters if needed. Lining was nice. Pocket inside. Very nice dress coat. Now we haven't gotten extremely cold weather yet, so I can't say how warm they will keep you. But I expect they will do just fine. The jacket arrived scrunched up in a plastic bag and was as wrinkled as a homeless man's jacket. A button popped off within 10 minutes of wearing it and not even going outside. The sleeves are so long they hung 6 inches past my hands, not even Stretch Armstrong could have worn this and I have long arms.
