Light weight, looks like a real tree trunk and the sound of the water is a-ma-zing! Having this going while it is surrounded by plants and some kitschy tropical decor really sets a relaxing mood! If we suspend belief just enough and drink enough tiki drinks , we can almost convince ourselves we are on an exotic island vacation even though we are real in the outskirts of Wydahotana. We are adding eco/animal friendly water conditioning pods specifically for outdoor fountains meant to keep the hard minerals from gunking up the pump and I also sprayed the front of this with a UV -protective matte finish to help keep the color on the faux wood surface from fading . So far we LOVE it... I will update the review later if necessary ... show more

This is a beautiful fountain that goes great on our deck. Easy to set up and good quality. Looks like a log, it even has what looks like moss on the lower part. Quite realistic looking. We love it.

I REALLY love this fountain! Easy setup (but know you need 2 outlets to accommodate both the pump and lights), fairly easy to maneuver and fill. Lights look great - though I'd like to find bulbs that are more natural looking, these look a bit fluorescent. The fountain has a great sound though I am still messing with it a bit...I'd like it flow a little slower, more like a small stream sound instead of a river but it's totally lovely. I feel like it will be pretty durable, unlike my last porcelain fountain. The pump does a great job and no humming once everything is in place and the water is flowing. ... show more

This Fountain is Magical! My wife and I love the comforting, soothing sound and the tree like feature design. We have the fountain in our living room because we wanted to have it close, so we could hear the water flowing down the basins. There is no splash back, so carpet stays dry. We had an issue with the pump, but Alpine resolved it with courtesy and professional service. I really like the fountain overall but it does have a small leak at the bottom. I should have known by the packaging as it was damaged but I accepted the delivery anyway (my bad). Also, I never thought I would say this but it's kind of to loud. I wanted the sound of running water but it sounds like a Niagra Falls almost (just kidding), but it does make it difficult to have a normal conversation if the fountain is within 5 ft. of you. ... show more
