Have been trying to find a simple cotton apron to wear when painting in my studio. Have sent back 6 different ones because they were all huge, made to be unisex, and so are made with too much material across the chest and were down to my ankles (I am 5' tall, 100 lbs). These aprons fit women! No bunching up and ballooning out across chest, no ties that drop below your fanny. And they are handsome to boot!. Have not washed them yet but the material is substantial and feels very sturdy but is soft and not abrasive. The package is definitely giftable but they come folded very small, packaged tightly together, but if wrapped with pretty paper around the tiny package it would be a lovely gifts for any cook, artist or horticulturalist. I highly recommend!

Worked to keep my clothes dry and clean in a kitchen at a bar and grill. Water can soak through the apron but it’s has to be a large volume.

I like the front of the Apron and the pockets in the front. I don't like the material on the back of the Apron. It will peel. The Apron is a little stiff. Never seen an apron with that kind of backing. Maybe it's for extra protection of your clothes. I believe it will peel in the wash. You will have to hang it up to dry so it won't stick together, crack, peel or become spungy. I am debating if l will keep it. It's sure not like the cotton Aprons l am used to. It's a little heavier than the regular cotton Aprons. Will give another review if l decide to keep it. Looks exactly as discribed in pic. Love the style hate the fabric.

I haven't used them yet as they just arrived so I can't vouch for how good they are in that sense (though they do look pretty well made and sturdy material). However, I was disappointed by the size. I wear a 16-18 and some reviewers here who are heavier said the drawstrings around the waist were so long they could tie them in the front. The ones I got couldn't be tied in the front (they just meet in the front). So the drawstrings around the waist on mine at least are shorter than what other people are saying. It makes it a pain to tie them in the back (since I don't have someone always around to tie them in the back for me). Also, the strap around the neck is adjustable but it seems short. I'm a very short person (5'1") and I had to pull them all the way down to the loosest setting to get it to fit around my neck so that the apron doesn't choke me and it's still feeling pretty tight around the neck.
