This is an update to my long winded review of 1 Star due to several issues. UPDATE: After returning the original purchase and getting a refund, Customer Service reached out to us, offering to send another one at no cost. This 2nd TIKI arrived quickly and went together with no issues, everything was perfect and easy to put together. We filled it, put pump dial to "low", plugged in pump and lights - perfect! The media could not be loaded. Works great so far! Initially I was confused on how to set it up. Pump went inside on the bottom/ floor of the tiki & fully submerged in water before turning it on. Filled it up with water through the little door. The little hole in the 3rd basin water is supposed to flow back down to the base. (I also painted it , just fyi) ... show more

I love everything about it! It looks durable and well made. The setup was a breeze. It definitely compliments my outdoor space. My only issue is that there's no on or off switch but other than that. It's an excellent product!!!

    • Senseless Customer Service Ordeal

I was very happy with this fountain when it first arrived. Then two months later both the LED lighting elements went out. Their website states" In the event that we have not achieved our usual standard of excellence, we will repair or replace, at our discretion, within the warranty period" OK good. So I filled out a claim, sent the receipts, which had the product and product number and asked for replacements. A few weeks later I received two replacements lights. One of these was not the correct replacement, it was missing the plug that keeps the top bowl full so that it spills into the bottom bowl. This pug is molded on to the wire, it doesn’t slide on, it's actually part of the light. Thus begins a two month saga with Customer Service. When I next wrote the company, I included photographs of the missing part, thinking that would help. But alas, no. Alpine again asked me to resubmit the claim. I send a new claim, all of the previous correspondence and another set of the photographs. A few weeks later they sent two more replacement lights that were NOT EVEN FOR MY FOUNTAIN. The connections and the lights were completely different. Multiple emails go back and forth. No response. I called the company. I asked the Customer Service Rep if she got the pictures I sent. She did. I asked if she sent them over to the department who was actually sending out the replacement parts. She did. I asked how they managed to not send the right part TWICE. She didn't know. OK Fine. When would I get the missing part? Apline REp responds that that they can't send me the missing part and that I would have to jury-rig something to make it work. Huh???? Next ensues this conversation: Why can't you send me the part? Alpine: We just can't. But aren't you still selling the fountain? Alpine: Yes Then you have the part. How can Alpine be selling the fountain with that part and then tell me they can't send me that part? Alpine: Silence. (Thinking perhaps she didn't understand the question, I rephrased.) That is, if Alpine doesn't have the part, how are they putting that part into the fountain they are selling right now? Alpine: We can't send you the part. That's what they're telling me. They who? Alpine: The people who have the parts. Another department. Why can't you send me the part if you're selling the fountain with the part? You got the pictures right? You know what the part looks like? Alpine: Yes, we got the pictures. We just can't send you the part. . You realize that makes no sense, correct? Alpine: Yes, I understand what you're saying. But it's what I'm telling you. So what you're saying is that even you're selling a fountain with the part, and yet you can't send me that part under your warranty. Alpine: Yes. That's what they're telling me. That’s all I know. I can't send you the part. OK. So based on my experience with their "warranty service" It would my recommendation that you DO NOT BUY this fountain - or any fountain - from Alpine. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is the 3rd Tiki fountain we have purchased over the years. The fountains last a long time but we have hard water and pets that like to damage the fountains. We're lucky to have been able to replace it with the same 3 tiered tiki fountain each time. The 3rd fountain had a problem with the LED lights not working. I contacted Alpine Customer Service about the problem. Customer service was very responsive, helpful, and they quickly sent out a replacement LED, pump, and power supply. Everything is fixed now. The fountain is easy to setup by just installing the pump to a hose and plugging it in. I connected it to a smart plug so that I can control it with Alexa and also set a schedule to turn it on and off. ... show more
