Remember the fountain is adjustable. Make sure it is on level ground so the water flows correctly. We put ours on a square stone.

Ordered two of the fountains, one of them arrived with broken exterior of fountain (no damage apparent on shipping box). Exchanging the damaged one, the other was fine. Set up was pretty simple, hole is a little small for my arm size so securing the pump on the bottom is difficult. Took less than 20 minutes to get running, filled pot with water hose, was a lot easier than finding a bucket as suggested. We've had the fountain running for 4 days straight with no issues, creates a pleasant, calming sound. I wish the body color was a little darker brown, and the LED lights were changeable. The lights are a bright, stark white, would prefer a soft white or blue color, but certainly not a deal breaker. ... show more

purchased the fountain. The sound coming from the fountain is so relaxing. We love sitting on the patio and listening to it in the evenings. We recently closed our koi pond, and we missed the sound of running water. This really made a big difference with our yard.

The media could not be loaded. The shade was little different then the actual picture. Just a hassle to return and reorder. It arrived 3 days later than the original date. I am still going to order another one and hopefully this time will get a one piece.

Purchased the turquoise one last year and fell in love with the zen feeling of peaceful sound. I keep it on 24/7 and add 2 pitchers of water in it every 3 days. Purchased the brown one to add to the living room and the sound of the 2 together are like an oasis. After a few months, the brown one had a stream that was not going straight into the bottom but was catching the edge causing water to spill. I have these fountains sitting on trays with a 2 inch depth just to save the carpet from any moisture and to keep the fountains level. I contacted Alpine about the issue and they immediately sent me a replacement. Their customer service is truly amazing. Love love love these fountains! ... show more

This fountain is exactly what we were looking for. We wanted something large enough, and sturdy enough to be in our front yard. The water is inside the fountain, so you’re not constantly cleaning up algae and other debris. The birds love to get water from it but are unable to bathe in it as the water well at the top is small.
