Description
ALP Lockdown Shades are the only blackout shades that feature a quick-release strap AND that secure at the bottom of the window, making them the best choice for every school, office, and business. No other shade provides an immediate, secure and effective lockdown solution. Unlike many window blinds and blackout curtains, no tools, hardware, mounting brackets, or drilling is required. Our patented design utilizes a strong industrial strength hook and loop adhesive strip and tabs that hold the shade in place, providing the most effective method of dropping and securing the shade to the bottom of the classroom window. Simply release the strap at the top so the shade drops over the window and press the bottom of the shade in place to completely block the intruder’s view. ALP Lockdown shades are a simple solution for school lockdowns, providing a simple solution that requires no extra time in the event of an emergency. ALP Lockdown Shades offer complete privacy in businesses and offices as well. HIGH QUALITY BLACKOUT FABRIC: the premium standard in lockdown shade protection · Serves as a weight bar to drop the shade quickly · Secures easily at the bottom of the window with adhesive tabs to keep the shade in place during lockdowns. Perfect for what I wanted it for
Material Type: Polyester
Size: Custom W x Custom H
I am so glad that I bought this for the door to my classroom. It’s sturdy and easy to hang. It is comforting to know that should an intruder come into the school, they won’t be able to see into my classroom easily. It fit perfectly, and I will recommend this to anyone who asks. I really like that it has a Velcro strip at the top so that it can be kept open when you don’t need to have it down. And the Velcro tabs to secure it at the bottom are a nice touch.

Exactly what I needed for my classroom.
Material Type: Polyester
Size: 32"W x 46"H
I am extremely happy with this purchase. I teach middle school. The way my classroom is arranged, we have VERY little room to hide during a lockdown. This shade gives me and my students the security we need to not be seen from the door. Incredibly easy to install. Incredibly easy to use during a lockdown. You just pull the velcro strip and it falls down. There are two pieces of velcro at the bottom that "seal" it to the door, so that there is no gap for anyone to see through. It is very important to measure your window before you order, so that you order the correct size. EVERY classroom should have a shade like this. If only our school districts would provide them for us. *sigh*. I'm lucky because my PTA agreed to cover the cost of mine.

Amazing company!!!!!
Material Type: Polyester
Size: Custom W x Custom H
Amazing small company! I ordered a few lockdown shades for my school and we love them. I have placed two more large orders with the company. Michael is a wonderful person to work with. He helped me customize the shades to make sure we had all of the correct measurements to accommodate our classrooms.

Perfect fit
Material Type: Polyester
Size: Custom W x Custom H
This is perfect for my office at school. I have a very long and skinny window that is not common. The custom sizing was perfect. Stick with the recommendations of extra length and it will be a perfect fit. I really like the Velcro that comes with it on the top and the bottom.

Excellent for school lockdown
Material Type: Polyester
Size: 12"W x 42"H
The blackout shade on my classroom windows do not allow any light to escape. It was easy to measure. Do that first before buying!!!!

So far so good!
Material Type: Polyester
Size: 10"W x 42"H
Well made! The shade is thick and good quality. The Velcro holds everything in place and it fits my door window perfectly. There are even two little Velcro tabs that you put near the bottom that can hold the shade in place if you fear light peaking through. The only draw back is that it is not reusable. We wanted to shift it over by a smidge and found out it wasn’t moving without damaging the product.
