Fairly easy to put together but putting the slats in was a bit difficult. The slats are made of lower cost wood but the price is right! We love the look of the bed! Biggest complaint is that the frame does not fit standard size mattresses! I saw a few other reviews and should have listened to them! The comforter can cover it but it’s not perfect. Purchased Full size frame for Full Size mattress Cons: there are at least 4-5 inches on the bottom and on the side of the frame. It is bigger than the normal Full size mattress. I am constantly stubbing my toes on the middle support foot. One screw was stripped I had to use lock tight to keep it together. Pros: Easy assembly took about 1 hour with one person. Fast shipping. I have purchased another Allewie frame in Velvet upholstered Queen Size and it is so much better quality than this full frame. For $100 you get what you paid for. It is made well and for the most part easy to put together. However, putting the wooden slats in the side panels was difficult for me. I needed more strength so I put the bed on its side for better leverage, got one corner in, then slid the flat over with my foot while pushing down as hard as I could. ... show more

Ordered a King Size Bed Frame is way too big for the mattress. We have a 1 year toddler who can climb the bed. But because of the extra uncovered space her feet could easily slip through which is a safety hazard. Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.
