I had my doubts about this frame when I bought it because it was rather reasonably priced. But I have to admit it's really solid! It took me under an hour and a half to put together and I wasn't rushing. If you have a drill with the correct size Allen bit it will chop that time in half. I used the included Allen key and it really wasn't difficult at all. The instructions were well laid out and simple to follow. Everything fit together well minus the little central bit I show in the photo but it doesnt effect anything whatsoever. Our last platform we had gotten from nectar that was more expensive than this but the legs were made of plastic screwed into particle board which was not remotely as sturdy as this is. Obviously these less expensive frames you wouldn't want to be doing gymnastics on them lol but it's still great quality and looks nice. Some of the screws show but you could always paint them white afterwards to hide them if you like. If anything significant changes in it's quality I'll update this review when it happens

I ordered a king size. The bed arrived well packaged and with everything required to assemble it. No additional tools necessary. A friend was supposed to help me put it together, but when he didn’t show up I put it together on my own with no issues. All parts were light and easy to carry up 3 flights of stairs on my own. The bed seems very sturdy. The mattress would be too high on the bed if you had a box spring. Because of that, from previous experience I was worried about my mattress tearing from lack of support between the rails. So I purchase some bunkie boards from Amazon as well (pictured). In that same picture you can see the post labeled “K”. I affectionately call that the toe breaker. He’s got a friend on the other side of the bed.

I like everything about this bed frame, and I'll probably buy another one for my bed upstairs. It has great height and a sturdy frame that's perfect for mattresses without a box spring. It was easy to put together in terms of all the screws fit the frame. I was surprised by the quality at such a good price. This is one of my best purchases this year.

I really liked the looks of this bed. A classic look made with modern materials. All pieces identified, instructions are clear, it feels very sturdy although it is lightweight. I like that it has plenty of clearance underneath (12 inches) and I plan to use under bed drawers. It does come in a lot of pieces so it does take time to assemble.
