After searching high and lowww. I wanted a platform bed that sat on the floor but I didn’t want to pay hundreds / thousands of dollars for a bed frame lol. To me it’s close enough as a platform with very little space and it is still low to the ground. I have a nectar mattress, no additional box spring but I’m sure you can add one if needed. I love the simplicity & I got it right under $200, great price to me based on furniture stores, no noise, get the job done. I bought this bed for my own bedroom, and overall, it works well for the price. Assembly was definitely a bit of a challenge — the instructions could have been clearer, and it took longer than expected. The quality feels lightweight and not super sturdy, but for the affordable price, it was about what I anticipated. One thing to note is that the bed sits very low to the ground. It’s important to double-check the height if that’s a concern, but nothing that a box spring can’t easily fix. Visually, the design is simple and minimalistic. Overall a good bed frame but not as shown or described. The bed sits very low and needs a box spring to be at a reasonable height. The headboard is also not as shown in the photos - it is only about 6 inches taller than the pillow. However the bed is sturdy and looks good. If they would add a few inches to the legs and make the headboard a little taller it would be very good. I like the bed frame and have gotten used to the low headboard and only gave it a 3 rating as the photos and description is not accurate. Now that I am used to it I might buy it again ... show more
