I have an attic room that has 2 large windows which means the sun beats down and heats that room up. I found these, measured my windows, and chose the correct size. What a difference!! They definitely help with temperature regulation, and they block out most of the light. They're very easy to install, and if you need to take them down, it's no problem, just rotate and pop them off. I would recommend these to anyone. I think they look nice too, I chose colors to match, great accent for the room. I love that they are cordless, there are two michevious kitties in the house, and they like to play with anything that dangles. They also raise and lower quite nicely.

I ordered the gray/white in hopes they would still work with my color scheme but have a better chance of blocking light than just white. They've only been up one day, but so far it seems as though the blinds are of excellent quality. Took about 5 minutes to put up. They look nice and work perfectly. Aside from the slight gaps around the edges, it was dark as night during my son's mid-day nap today. I also like that they come with clips for a little handles. Definitely recommend- only improvement could be a better price.

WOW, these not only darken the room they block the summer heat too. I am light sensitive and these improved my quality of sleep. They look nice. You can't go wrong with honeycomb style. Cordless make them easy to open and close.

These shades are nice. They were easy to install. They clip right in at the top mounting brackets. The plastic piece that is your hand guide at the bottom to raise and lower the shades went on easily and did not break. The shades were the desired length and color. They provide about 95% light blocking at night. The shades provided wall anchors for those wanting to mount to the wall. I mounted these to wood window frames in an 1840's Farm house. I had to modify where I put the screws because our window frames are smaller than today's frames, but I was able to use a different hole for the screws that was was recommended and they are very effective.

I replaced my bedroom blinds with the Allesin Blackout Room Darkening Shades. The shades themselves are great. I would give them a 5 star rating except that they could not be hung properly. I have installed many shades in my time. I needed to install the shades with ceiling mount brackets. There were two problems with the supplied brackets (see old bracket photo), the first problem is that the bracket could not be ceiling mounted because it was not universal (ceiling or wall mount) it could only be used for wall mount. I added holes so that it could be ceiling mounted. The snap into place mount was very poor and did not hold well. The shade fell off of the bracket when lifting it up or down 5 times in the first few weeks after installation. Luckily, I shortly after installing the shades I replaced some old similar shades that I had in the rec room. After taking the old brackets off I noticed that they would fit the Allesin shades. I replaced the brackets that Allesin supplied and they hold perfectly (see photo new bracket). It makes me wonder if the manufacturer ever mounts the shades that they sell.

UPDATE*** still love this blind, my child tries to tear it up daily with no such luck. the durability is incredible. 10/10 still recommend *** Install was slightly painful, but now that it is up we LOVE IT! Ordered for our daughter’s nursery. Totally blocks out the light which is wonderful! Quality of the cellars is comparable to higher priced blinds from Home Depot or Lowes. Only complaint is the instructions are vague and the brackets are a little tricky to figure out. But for half the price of comparable blinds this one is WORTH IT!! You won’t regret ordering.
