This is easily the best 8 inch android tablet available at the current time. At the price point that it's at, there's not much it competes with as it has a quality screen, processor and useable levels of ram and storage along with LTE support and expandable storage via micro SSD. The Samsung 8 inch doesn't come close, nor does the Nokia. Now that this is fully NFE supported for HD Netflix and so on, there's not much else you need from a tablet. I hope this tablet pushes other manufacturers to release in this form factor. The battery life usually lasts me 2 days with moderate use and it charges pretty quickly. It's responsive for touch controls and all buttons. The cameras aren't bad but I didn't buy this to take photos at all so it's more nice to have if needed in my eyes. I would recommend you use the tablet with headphones or external speakers when watching things as the integrated single speaker leaves something to be desired. Though, it's definitely not bad, and the Bluetooth works great and that's how I usually watch things anyways. I hope the next version will have dual front facing speakers. Once you get one of these: The Samsung 8 inch tablet screen protectors fit this one perfectly. The case I have is super slim and from AliExpress (~$5), unless you're looking for a folio, I highly recommend it. I've been using this tablet for almost a month now and everything has continued to work flawlessly. Its a nearly stock Android experience out of the box and it's already received one software update so that bodes well for continued product support. It's a snappy little tablet which fits well in my hand and is nicely balanced. It is easy to hold with one hand and it's very sturdy. The perfect size for bedtime videos and gaming. Robust response time, and nice hardware internals. I have done many hours of research for an android based tablet, and only one had all the elements with the reviews to back it up the ALLDOCUBE 8.4 inch Tablet, Helio G99 Android Tablet with Widevine L1. The wildvine L1 (L1 is the highest rating possible) gives great picture quality for Netflix and other media platforms. Well worth the price IMHO, but don't believe me... go to YouTube and search up the ALLDOCUBE and you'll quickly see why it's well worth your investment. Oh, before I forget... great battery life as well, has a sim slot and a slot for extended memory... This thing rocks! ... show more

I love the form factor. 8.4inch makes it easy to hold one hand. The tablet is snappy. Comes with a near stock Android 13 with no bloatwares. It has a enough RAM at 8GB, which can be expanded to 16GB in total by adding 8GB virtual RAM. The Helio G99 chip does a good job. Apps load and open quickly. The speaker is one weak area of this tablet. It's mono and it doesn't get very loud. But overall, this is a great tablet at a bargain price. ... show more

This is honestly a great Tablet! It almost reminds me of the days of the Nexus 7 or LG GTab 8. A bone stock android experience with very decent specs and a great screen. It's a smooth user experience. It's refreshing to have a small tablet which isn't so underpowered that it can't do basic tasks. I can type really fast without waiting for it to catch up and the UI is really smooth. It has enough power to easily do 1440p 60fps YouTube or do some emulating up to the GameCube and PS2. If Alldocube released a version of this tablet with a 90hz or even better 120hz screen I would buy one in a heartbeat because it feels like it has enough power to run a screen with that refresh rate. The reason I only rated 4 stars is because the wifi chip is pretty weak. It has a hard time connecting through more than one wall unless you have a really strong router. I think it's not correctly connecting to the 2.4ghz band or something. Because it feels like it's trying to use 5ghz all the time. ... show more

I've looked for a good 8 inch tablet for a long time. But I've gotten tired of spending a lot for poor performance. The Alldocube iplay 50 mini Pro is finally the 8 inch tablet that breaks the mold. I love this little tablet. Lightweight, slim and very capable. There are some tradeoffs in this tablet. Fingerprint and other sensors are not there. Other "high end" features may not be there. But what is there is what counts. A great little tablet with a lot of storage, more than adequate RAM, such that I have no complaints with performance. And the price is right. Does everything I need it to do and then some. Highly recommend. After a month of use: My review above stands. I use this tablet daily now, and it is a great little workhorse. An otherwise awesome little tablet that COULD have been a hit in the US if only they had included a real cell chip in order to permit it to do what it is advertised to do.
