I purchased this to use on my daughter’s hair. It is thick, great to grip the hair with and holds great! I’m neutral on the smell. It doesn’t stink but doesn’t smell great. The jar was much bigger than I anticipated. I will definitely buy again and recommend this product.

The gel works pretty well, and it lays your edges. It is a greasy formula, and if you live in warmer areas I do not recommend, as it might melt easily. The scent is nice, like tea tree oil, and I did not notice any flaking, and my edges were down the whole day.

I do a lot of braids here in the barbershop and this is probably one of the best hair gels I’ve ever used that doesn’t get too dry too fast and it keeps the hair all in place

Alone it works well. I used it to braid my hair and hardly had any fly aways sticking out. The product is even better with the black tube of got to be hair gel. It doesn't flake. Babyyyy when I tell you I don’t protect my braids when I sleep, I mean it! It still keeps them in place and the scent is not strong. Product is not greasy but definitely requires a good double wash for full removal.

I have 4c hair and I struggle to get a good edge control that truly holds up. It gqve me a good hold and because of its texture it give my hair a moisturizing feel. This is a really great product and have me up to 9 hours of good edges. They only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because in the sun it gets a little bit on the oily side or greasy and if you use it everyday it leaves a little white look but that's just the build up of the product ... show more
