These have a thicker strap material than their competitor (Cerbonny Handles) and the 2 carabiner hooks that come with the handles are way better as well. What you need to do: 1) If you run your pinky finger on each end (INSIDE) of the handle part, you will feel at least on one out of the two ends of each handle, you will feel some plastic excess that was left over from the manufacturing process - - and through time will tear-up the material strap and render these useless at some point. 2) SOLUTION: I have these small files I found in the garage and used them to just file down that excess plastic inside the handles ... show more

Pros: Feel good in my hands, solid, good value for the money Cons: They do not rotate easily, making some curls very awkward -- you have to also fight friction of the belts against plastic and it creates this annoying sound and weird sensation of plastic-against-plastic. So if you do just row-type pulls, it'll be ok, but if you want to curl weight with biceps, get something that rotates properly ... show more

Suitable for Resistance Bands and for people with medium size hands. I wear an XL glove, so I was looking for a large grip handle. Unfortunately, the "V" of the strap on this is small and so it presses on my fitness watch when I extend and push my arms outward. This causes my watch button to press into my wrist and turns it off. Frustrating. The strap is wider, but thinner than the original handles that came with my Marcy functional trainer cable system. The strap only loops through the D-ring once where my current handles are two layers. Last, the D-ring itself is a thinner gauge metal. Overall, I don't see that these are sturdy enough to last very long. Oh yeah, the other reviewer who suggested you need to take a narrow round file to the inside of the plastic handle to remove burrs - he's right. ... show more

Bought these as additional grips for my PR3000. They SQUEAK!! The webbing material squeaks against the plastic handle material. Very annoying to the ear. When it squeaks it also rotates in the hand with a bit of hesitation or jerking motion. Not smooth rotation under load like the stock Bowflex grips. The thicker and wider webbing also rubs on the back of the hands, forearms, and shoulders more than the stock grips. Anyway, was disappointed and will not buy again. Will try some others or just buy the Bowflex originals. ... show more

I liked everything about this product, except that the two pieces are not the same size. Its the strapping part that is not symmetrical, which impacts my workout. To remedy this, I double loop the longer one onto itself two times and THEN attach the caribeaner, which then makes the use feel symmetrical on each side when I use it on my standing cable machine. Positives: the plastic of the grips themselves is nice, as is the texturing. The stitching on the strapping part is good. I don't think this is going to come apart after repeated use. ... show more

I had a difficult time finding a handle without foam. It is tacky and firm, which is what I wanted. This is exactly what I was looking for in a handle. So far it seems to be a great handle. These cable handles would have been perfect to attach to resistance bands. The steel carbiners are big and sturdy, probably an over kill. I couldn't use for me needs though because I wanted one with D or O rings large enough to allow a 1 inch diameter pipe pass through.
