I’ve used this awning quite a bit now and overall I’m very pleased with the quality of it. It’s easy to install and the hardware hasn’t rusted on me despite always being parked outside. It’s straightforward to set up and I haven’t run into any issues with the legs. As the pictures show, the joints for the poles are well done and I don’t have any fears that the poles will fail at the joints. The awning fabric is my biggest concern as it seems a bit thin, but so far in high winds in the desert, the awning has been incredibly stable. This isn’t going to be a good as the more expensive options out there, but it fits my budget and is actually a lot better than I expected it to be. I’m quite pleased with it. ... show more

A good manual awning for a cargo trailer conversion. It was simple to install and the fabric seems to be made of quality material. The only downside is the leg support poles are made of very thin metal, however, they function fine. Deploying the awning is pretty straightforward and can be done by one person with some difficulty, so two people make it go so much easier. The awning provides some nice shade and seems to be very sturdy for what it is. I would probably take it down in any type of strong winds though. A good value, but would be better if the poles were made out of a little thicker material. It would be nice if All Top sold the extended tent rooms for this awning. I would definitely purchase one. ... show more

Had a same size awning from one of the big name companies that damaged itself in the wind. My fault for not tying it down, but it folded up and bent two of the poles badly enough I couldn't straighten them. Bought this awning for $180 less then the name brand awning to steal parts off of to repair the other awning and was surprised to find this is a better built and nicer all-around awning. Heavy fabric, INCLUDED mounting kit (name brand was $70 for mounts) anodized poles and brackets instead of raw aluminum. Name brand awning is now on the shelf for parts. ... show more

Long story short, for overlanding an awning is so much better than a popup tent. I bought two pop up tents to compare, and really there is no comparison. The awning is so much more practical and better! Did not hany any experience with any others, but this one seems really solid. The material is really sturdy, the bottom has rods which make each wall straight, opens up in a few secons and drops down. Mostly used witout the roof. This one comes with a pretty functional LED bar. Sadly I ripped out the cord, see photos (its pretty fragile) better securing would be helpful. Its literally just soldered on, and when there is pressure applied to teh cable, the pressure goes directly to the soldering. During testingt, the LED bar was solid, has 3 differnt light color modes. White light and amber (not to attract bugs). Overall very happy with it, used on a 1200 mile trip, worked solid. ... show more

I was really excited about attaching this to the side of my camper. When I installed it and rolled the roof out, there was a hole in the roof. Looks like a mouse got to it before it was attached to the unit because there wasn't a mouse inside of the exterior ZIPPED bag and no holes in the bag itself. Then, when I extended the right arm, the rivets busted right through! It took quite a bit of work to fix it where I can use it, and I really hope the other side doesn't do the same thing when I'm camping and have no way to fix it! The curtain material and bag seem to be good quality, but the metal materials seem like junk. **UPDATE** Seller reached out and provided a full refund! They really seem to care about their products and customers..much appreciated! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Seems pretty straight forward. Able to install myself but definitely easier with some help. Not that anyone would want to steal but it wouldn’t be difficult so I added a piece to the railing and secured it with a lock.

Purchased this product on Nov 10,2023. During install of the hardware I notice slippage with the bolt heads in the channel. Caused indentions which may cause weak points. No matter where I moved the bolts they still turned. Then, the bolts get snagged in the pinch making it difficult to remove them. All joints are made of plastic and honestly do not expect them to last a gust of wind so…..buyer beware of this product. ... show more
