This is a very nice pet door overall. It comes with all the necessary accessories and instructions to install, and installation is very easy, assuming you have the right tools. With the provided cutout template, it was very easy to find, measure, and cut out the right spot for the door in my existing door. Putting the pieces together, and screwing in place was also relatively easy. The door works really well for our pets. It took some getting used to from our dogs, since they're used to a single flap, and this one has two flaps by default. The two flaps are great, especially to help with weatherproofing, but it is a little bit harder to open for some pets. The door also comes with two sliding covers that can be placed on the inside and outside of the door to prevent entry or exit when desired, or simply to close the door during heavier weather. These covers can also be locked to ensure they can't be slid open from the opposite side. Overall, very nice looking, and highly functional pet door.

I live in a very rural area with a lot of wandering cats. Years ago I outfitted my garage for them where there is always food, water, beds, and heat in winter. I installed a swinging kitty door so they can come in and out whenever they want. I know from experience (with doggie doors in my house) that any swinging kitty or doggie door will wear out after 3-4 years. My current kitty door still works fine but will probably wear out in another year or so, so I ordered this aluminum frame cat door as a replacement to have on hand when the time comes. This cat door has a bit larger swinging doors than my current cat door, maybe 30% larger, so this would work for even gigantic cats and even small dogs. (The description online says it will work for pets up to 22 pounds, and that seems very realistic.) I examined this door carefully, and I was impressed. The build quality seems good. I especially like that there is insulation on both sides of the dual swinging doors and as I swung them back and forth the magnetic strips in the bottom of the frame did a good job of grabbing the magnetic strips in the bottom of the swinging doors. That's an indispensable feature, as it keeps the doors securely closed in windy weather. The set comes with all the tools and screws you need, and the instruction book is helpful and clear. There is also a height template, which is a great help when deciding where to position the cat door. All in all, this seems like a good quality cat door, thoughtfully designed, carefully built, with good instructions.

This doggie door is really well made. I like the aluminium construction frame, and I especially like the magnetic bottoms to keep the flaps from getting stuck. The dimensions are spot on from what is listed in the listing. Unfortunately I am not able to use this. I got it because it said it was good for dogs up to 110 lbs. I have a 75 lbs. black lab, and this door is way too small for her in both width and height. Going off that, I am not having to get a bigger door. Again, not a bad product at all by any means, but check the dimensions carefully before your order.

This is definitely the nicest quality cat door we've ever had. Very durable material and easy to install. We have farm cats and our garage is their home base. After installing a new garage door, we needed a new cat door to go with, and this is great. Small enough so we aren't worried about larger animals making use of it. Took them a bit to adjust to, but not long. The flaps are a bit stiff and they need to use more force to push through, but I expect it will break in over time. Like that it is magnetic and seems like it will help keep cold air from coming in during the winter.

I did have to add pieces to make it fit... Due to me measures door thickness wrong. I didn’t realize door panels on my door were really thin... I measured end of door to make sure thickness was correct. Before placing order. I didn't take in to consideration this old door was thin in middle. But still works great! With some adjustment! Was easy to install came with pattern for easy alignment to cut out hole. Seems pretty durable. Looks great. Functions as described. I did have to take 1 of the flaps off my cat is getting older and does like the force needed to come thru 2 flaps. Worth the price.

Small size o ly good for maybe a 40 pound dog. Also according to the instructions it came with 2 interior sides and no insulating panel. Unfortunately I cut the hole in the door before I realized this and was stuck making do.

Had to call a buddy over for an assist on this to find the job. We both thought the screws were to short. After we put clamps on the doggie door insert to hold in place it squeezed the regular door enough to use the longest screws in the pack. That bit of information isn’t in the instructions.

I used this door on an outdoor dog/cat house. It's made from aluminum, is very sturdy, and features magnetic strips that keep the flaps in place after pets enter or exit. The door consists of two sections that fit together on either side and includes bolts for fastening. The flaps are slightly heavy but feel durable and built to last. The package comes with two different sizes of bolts to accommodate doors of varying thicknesses. Additionally, it includes a locking mechanism—a sheet that slides into either side of the door to block access. A spring at the top of the door secures the sheet in place and is easy to slide up or remove. While it may take some time for my pets to get used to going in and out, I couldn’t be happier with this order. I highly recommend this door to anyone looking to give their pets the freedom to come and go as they please.
