I don't normally write reviews but I almost didn't buy this because I saw people saying it was sticky. I am so glad I didn't listen to them. My hair has never been better. I genuinely think that perhaps folks writing those reviews are putting it in when their hair is not wet.

I love this product, it is good value for money and it keeps my curls in place. I like that it does not get my hair too hard like most other gel type products, and it manages my crazy hair very well. I would def purchase this again and again.

I've switched a few different brands of gel for my hair, but after trying a couple different products this one is my favorite. Good bottle with good texture that makes dispensing just the right amount easy, easy to apply, and good hold with some shapeability too.

I’ve been searching for over a decade for products to tame my frizzy mane and by Jove here it is! I have 3B curly hair but it’s very thin and fine, and I’ve tried Herbal Essences and Garnier and other fruit and sweet smelling mousses. I’ve tried a few curly-hair specific gels but my hair is gets crunchy and they always exacerbate my dandruff. I’ve tried a few leave-in conditioners and even used lotion, which help in the winter when it’s dry but when frizz season kicks in my hair is a wild mess! I’ve tried so many different things and I sort of just got to the point where I “Wash, Put, Pray” and accept my good or bad hair day. Usually it was just “meh” though. I then came across a video on Facebook where I saw the model with hair like mine use leave-in conditioner, Durex lube (I know right? But it’s mostly just water so I get it), and hair gel. I went and ordered all 3 of those things, and picked this for the gel. My life has changed. This gel does get a little crunchy on the top, but that’s because I’m a little heavy handed at that spot. But I don’t get an itchy scalp. And oh my god are my curls formed into perfect little ringlets and so soft! I’ve tried using JUST the gel (no leave in or lube) and the results are still the same, if not better! And the next day I can get away with just light combing because the ringlets are still intact (I don’t sleep with a silk or satin pillowcase/head covering because I’m allergic to those materials UGH)! I’ve had so many good hair days with this and I never have to use expensive frizz serum. I will continue to buy and use this gel and will look into other products too! I was a deva curl die-hard until their prices sky rocked, and the product containers got smaller. Because I'm a frizz queen, and enjoy something I can air dry without a heavy stickiness, I thought I'd give this a shot. VERY satisfied with the results. It's a LIGHT product, so if you are going for super hold, this isn't the one. If you are looking for anti-frizz, light scent and air dry or diffuser product that gives you chill curls, I think you'd be happy. I am. Will re-purchase when mine runs out. ... show more

For yrs I had been using a type of mousse, which I cant find anymore and when I do find it is super expensive. I looked into Deva Curls products, but too expensive. So I tried this and I have to say it has worked for me way better than expected!!
