I really love this dress. It's nicely made, the fabric is soft and stretchy, the lace is highly detailed and high-quality, and it looks great with a pair of red heels. The little built-in cinches on the inside of the dress allow you to adjust how high/low, and on which side(s), the front of the skirt is raised, so you can go from demure to racy at need. It's very comfortable to wear, and has a nice "swish" to it. The first one I ordered was waaaay too big, returned it, got two sizes smaller, and it's about right. The fabric is stretchy around the waist, so you should factor that into your calculations--you can probably count on 1-2" of stretch in the waistband. All in all, very much a winner! ... show more

I was impressed with the quality of this skirt for the money. I like that you can cinch it up to make it shorter or longer in the front. The skirt is very high waisted, so keep that in mind when buying your shirt to go with it. It is slightly loose on me at the waist. I have a 26 inch waist and ordered a size small. It has a zipper on the side but there is no way to tighten the waist at all. Being that I am so small, I figured that it would be a little bit big so I am not worried about it. I will just safety pin it a tiny bit in the back to make it a little more snug. I bought this for Halloween so once the day comes, I'll post some pictures of how it looks. ... show more

I love the look and feel of the fabric on this skirt. It's thick and not cheap looking. Also , stretchy and I didn't need to even use the zipper. It's pretty classy and elegant. This skirt is very nice for costumes, feels well-made, and looks beautiful. But it runs extremely large. My waist is 32", but after seeing other people comment about the size I got a large rather than the suggested XL. This was still very nearly too big and I probably would've exchanged it if I didn't need it for an event. A thick belt fixed it, but make sure you order at least a size down. ... show more

Tried several for steampunk costume and this one is really cute. Thin stretchy comfortable material but not see through. I ordered a small and only wish they had an extra small but small still works. I'm 5'8 26 in waist Update: I saw some reviews give 1 star bc the skirt wasn't bunched in the front like the photo and realized mine wasn't either. I looked inside the skirt and the strings are there you just tighten them to bunch as desired. I'm only a bit disappointed you can't bunch a ton dt the side zipper looking weird if you bunch it a lot. It does look really good with a little bunching though! ... show more

I love this skirt! I ordered it for part of my Halloween costume. I am always skeptical about ordering online because most things do not fit. However, I read the reviews of this skirt, and I decided to take a chance. I normally wear a US Size 10, and based on the reviews, I probably could have worn a medium. BUT, I decided to order a large because I could always pin it or take it in. It was a little loose but not by much! The skirt is stretchy and EXTREMELY comfortable! I love the fact that you can also make the front shorter! My husband loved it too! I will definitely be finding another event or reason that I have to wear this! LOVE IT! ... show more

I got the plain black one, and now I want the red since it's so beautiful. It stretches and fits nicely but you can afford to go a size smaller. I finally figured out how to sinch in the front, which is really nice. Because I'm shorter it obviously is longer than others' photos but it's exactly what I needed.
