  • Does one job, and does it well!
Easy to use, perfectly sized to get down that bathroom sink drain. Sturdy. Sometimes baking soda and vinegar is just not enough.

  • Easy to Use and Effective at Removing Gunk and Hair
For years I have been unscrewing the pop-up under the sink, removing it, and giving it a good scrubbing. Little did I know that after several years of extra effort the little chrome colored (silver) top on the pop-up simply unscrews to allow for easy cleaning and O-ring replacement. After I removed the silver top, the brush worked fantastic. I also took the time to replace the rubber O-ring that sits in the groove on the pop-up top as it becomes age hardened and cracks, and does not hold water in the basin. Three basins all fixed up! Update- please note that not all pop-ups have a top piece that unscrews. The brush is flexible enough to push past the top piece into the drain but it is much easier if you have a top piece that unscrews. If you do have a top piece that unscrews it will unscrew counter clockwise and will unscrew easily. If it does not easily remove please do not force it or you may break some plastic pieces in the pop-up. ... show more

  • Worked well, cleaning it is messy
Pulled out a lot of hair and other junk from my almost-clogged bathroom sink drain. With some hot water then poured in, my drain was clear. But how do you pull the hair off the bristles, and the gunk without splashing it all over the place? Maybe next time I need to use it I’ve figured it out. Otherwise, a good sturdy drain opener brush. ... show more

  • Works like a charm!
My wife has super long hair that clogs our drains frequently, and this brush has never had any issue declogging them. I especially love that the brush is flexible enough to work around the drain stopper in our sink & tub, but also firm enough to get a good hold of whatever is stuck down there. I haven't had to disassemble my drain or use Drain-O in ages. It can be difficult at times to get the hair out of the bristles after cleaning, but most gunk rinses out without a problem. Definitely worth adding to your cleaning kit! ... show more

  • This brush cleared my pop-up sink drain easily and thoroughly!
When I opened he package, I thought the brush would be too thick and too stiff to clean my sink drain which has a pop-up that doesn't remove or flip on its side. However, the bristles fit easily under the gasket and with a slight push the brush easily went deep into the drain clearing lots of gunk and hair. The brush didn't splatter gunk around the room when I removed it. It was easy to remove the gunk and hari form the brush to throw away. I will need to clean the sink, but expected to do that. It took 3 pushes, one on each side of the drain and the drain flows better than new! The brush is sturdy enough to use many times in the future. Good value. The "as seen on TV" smaller brushes that come 3 to a pack fell apart after single uses. This is much better. ... show more

  • hard to remove gunk from bristles
It works well enough but my tub drain has a wheel design inside it which makes this brush unable to get in between to get down the drain. It works fine in my sink drain. The other problem is getting cleaning off all the hair and gunk that comes out with the brush. Everything gets knotted around the bristles and hard to remove. In hindsight I might have gone with something a little easier to clean. ... show more

  • These are the best, safest drain cleaners I have found in over 6 decades of cleaning drains.
This over sized pipe cleaner is great at getting hair out of sink and tub drains, and they are way, way safer than those plastic toothed cleaners ! Having had long hair for most of my life, 2 younger sisters, 2 children and five long haired grandchildren, I have spent a lot of time cleaning drains. And because I hate wasting money, I have found that these can be reused by rinsing them, which does not work very well for the toothed ones because the teeth are just so sharp. I store it hung on the tank clip that holds the toilet cleaning handle, it is very discrete, but handy. It has an actual handle rather than just a loop like the toothed strips so there is much better control. ... show more

  • Amazing product; it really works
I got it today and tried it out. I had seen that some other reviewers mentioned bristles coming off. It must be a quality control issue at the factory. I ran mine up and down a number of times and then (tried) to clean it and did not lose any bristles. The characteristics that make it good at removing stuff from the drain also make it hard to clean. However, I'd rather have something that works any day. Fortunately I have the type of drain plug that screws off. I spent more time trying to reinstall the plug, due to a little plastic basket inside coming off that took forever to get back in place, than cleaning the drain. It reaches all the way down to the first bend where I think the problem was. In any case, the drain is working perfectly for the first time in months. ... show more
