Good computer. Silent. Sometimes it refuses to start. After a google search, it turns out that you have to complete discharge the system from time to time to get it going. I don't like all the lights on so I was able to turn them off via the included app. Only left the logo on so that I know the machine is on. Fast enough but not "wow" fast. It takes quite a bit to start (2 minutes) but after that it is fine. I have not played many games but the few I have played (Ghost of Tsushima, portal 2, World of tanks Blitz) played well on high settings. Wireless network card works fine. ... show more

I was genuinely expecting this to be a bad experience. But the PC arrived overnight, early in the morning. There were damages to the packaging (I once worked as a Warehouse Manager, so I recognized fork holes immediately) so at some point, this box was damaged in a warehouse, probably while on a pallet of six other computers. But... the internal padding protected the PC itself. Once I got it opened, and plugged it. It booted right up, and within 20 minutes I was playing games. Incredibly easy, even 2 months later, the PC is running smooth, playing all the games I could want it to on the maximum graphic settings, very quiet and low temp, and has had absolutely no issues hardware wise. Of course, I had to adjust to the new OS because my old PC was 7 years old, so there were some settings I had to look up and that caused a little bit of annoyance at first (computer put itself to sleep after only a few minutes of me being AFK, and when I try to put it to sleep, my Razer mouse and Keyboard kept waking it up randomly, but I figured out the settings and now it all works great.) ... show more

Beware! I ordered this gaming computer for my daughter’s Christmas present during Black Friday sales event. Thought it was an awesome deal. BUT, when she opened it Christmas morning, we quickly saw things were not right. The back of the tower had a metal bay door that was open and would not close. Also, there were NO hdmi ports even installed in the tower!! So, we could not even hook up a monitor to see if the computer had met the other specs listed in description. Most of the tower looked fairly vacant! So now I have to pay more for similar specs since Black Friday sales are no longer around. So disappointing! Very stable system; this product has updated its system drivers (soup to nuts, including alienware specific hardware, GPU, etc...), and still runs flawlessly. With some of the complaints I was not sure how the product would arrive. Everything I expect to be part of the computer was in it. The CPU dose read as a 2.4ghz processor, but it scales up to 5.3ghz. I have informed Dell of this discrepancy and recommended they adjust that part of the description for this computer. It does however come with a base keyboard and mouse which I was not expecting and that was an awesome surprise. So far so good. The computer is quick and smooth. Like with any pc there are operational quirks to figure out with new software and getting provisional software like anti-virus up and running. That said, I bought this for work digital art and so far, while using three monitors, as long as I don't go crazy high for the size on advanced brushes everything is what I want it to be. The colors and the framerates are steady. I will update if anything nasty occurs in the short term. ... show more
