Was very skeptical in purchasing this unit as we never heard of the company before. Bought it for our 3 season cottage to replace a window unit. Was delivered much earlier then stated. Outdoor unit was damaged, dented to the point the fan would not spin. Send a photo to the company and they responded within 24 hours. Stated that if the unit would still perform as should they would give us a discount. When told it would not, they said they would ship out a new outdoor unit within 3 to 5 days of address confirmation and do not have to return the other unit. Receive the replacement unit within 4 doors. Was very easy to install and works great. Cools as it should as well as heat up the cottage as it should. When in quiet mode, you would not even know it was on. Still fairly quiet in the normal mode. Looking forward to a very comfortable cottage next season. ... show more

Purchased two of these to install in my home. i was a bit apprehensive to get this model because I would need to pull a vacuum on the lines. Should not have been worried, easy peasy. Purchased a vacuum pump with gauges here on Amazon and followed instructions I got from a couple youtube videos and everything went smooth as silk. Only issue I did have were the videos didn't mention to take the stem out of the yellow hose when pulling the vacuum. Once I did that no more problems. Had to tighten the coolant lines a little because I had a small leak but that was easy also. I had never seen one of these in operation before purchasing and I have to say I am sold. Blows away my central air that was installed. My outside unit had to be replaced 4 times in 20 years. That's only 5 years per unit. Funny, how they all went out at the same time the warranty expired. I had Tranes, Goodmans and one other. outside units were loud and made being by pool way less enjoyable. These mini-splits are quiet and unobtrusive. I put in 4 standalone units just in case I ever had issues I could just switch it out instead of changing out the entire house. At the costs of these mini-splits I can replace all of them and still not come close to the price of replacing my central air. I must say I have learned after doing these myself that hvac guys are way overpaid for what they actually do in my opinion. Charge way too much for the equipment and the install fees also. Then the service calls that seem to never end because the equipment fails constantly. ... show more

    • A very solid little unit. Hard to beat for the price.
I have been very satisfied with this mini split. It is the first mini split I have owned, but I was still able to install it with minimal difficulty, despite the instructions being a little bit iffy. It heated our small house nicely during the winter and cooled it nicely during the summer. The main reason I settled on this unit is because it was the only one I could find with a narrow enough air handler to fit between the two windows on the end of the house where I wanted it, and I have not been disappointed. The only reason I left a star off is because it sometimes takes a few presses on a button on the remote before the unit actually responses, and it doesn't always remember where the baffle was set last time, so I generally have to reposition the baffle manually each time I turn it on again. ... show more

I had a different model mini split that got clogged with sawdust, backed up with water and died. I didn't want to spend another thousand bucks to replace it. I dug around and came across this one and took a chance. The unit arrived in two days in two boxes. I pulled the old unit out and installed this one in about an hour. We've been in a heat wave here in Oklahoma for the last few months. This has been the 3rd hottest summer since 1939 with 45 days over 100 degrees so far. My shop has been cool and comfortable. The death of my old unit was my fault. I never considered the amount of sawdust that was entering the unit until the drainage tube clogged. That was my fault. This time I found some filters that just cling to the top of the unit over the intakes, and I hope with that and better maintenance on my part, this unit will last much longer. It comes with detailed instructions, a remote control (which is very handy since I have it mounted up higher than I can reach without a ladder). It is the perfect size for my small shop and looks great on the wall. I have no complaints at all. ... show more

Great little mini split! I installed it in a single car garage it gets really cold. I love it. I think it could do a two car garage but might not be as cold as in a smaller room. Installation was easy for me because I am very handy. Took only two hours. If you are not too handy You could still do it just do it with patience might take you about 4 hours. The only part you have to be the most careful with is installing the hoses. Make sure they fit in correctly and once you start tightening don’t stop until it’s all the way in. That is the trick! This way no freon leaks. After all like I said I think it a great little mini split for smaller rooms such like bedrooms, offices and single car garages. You could still try in a two car garage it may cold the garage if you seal the garage door really well. I am 100 % satisfied! Oh! And don’t forget to buy the hole saw, pull disconnect box and liquid tight cable extension. About $55 for all. ... show more

I bought this unit for my outside building gym. My first review is for the AC unit. This is an excellent unit. It blows hard and gets very cold. The room it sits in is around 650sq ft and it will cool from 85 to 70 degrees in about 20-30 mins on high cool. Easy install and came with everything that is in the listing. My second review is for the seller. Some of the best customer service I've had in a while. The unit arrives in two packages, one for the outside unit and one for the inside. Upon delivery of my outside unit, it had been dented pretty heavily during shipping. I contacted the seller and received a response very quickly. They were very helpful and understanding and replaced my damaged unit immediately with no issues. New unit arrives in a couple days. All communication I had with the seller was very professional and punctual. Would definitely purchase another one of these units and would surely use the same seller again. ... show more

For the cost of this unit, I am quite pleased with its performance. It puts out ice cold air conditioning and hot heat. And it was very diy friendly. I installed this in my office of my shop and it’s great along with being super quiet compared to an old window unit I was using. I may consider getting a couple more to add in other areas. After it was installed, I had a few issues, but with the help of Abbott customer service, they were resolved. The unit almost keeps my living space too cold. After I got it connected to wifi, Alexa even found it. I'm still working on voice control, and routines for automation.
