First off, very important! The wrench is used to hold the nut in place and prevent it from spinning while you use the allen wrench to turn the screw. And though the wrench is thin, wrapping it in some material made it comfortable to hold. Also, make sure all screws are tight or bed frame will squeak. It was fairly easy to assemble and took me 20-30 minutes to finish the job. Our cali king sized bed is now 26 inches off the ground and added a ton of storage space underneath. I was able to store a few containers, luggages, boxes and misc items underneath and its very easy to pull them out. The only (necessary) consequence of having 14 inch high storage underneath your bed is that it is very easy to see all of those items with no effort. I will need buy a bedskirt. ... show more

This frame was so easy to put together. It comes with all the tools required to do it. My kiddo even helped put the slats in at the end. It’s lightweight but incredibly sturdy. It also is up high enough that it adds a ton of storage space underneath. Very happy with this product!

We bought 2 twin xl frames in white. I wanted something in white, modern, and cheap. The pictures make it look bright white, but it’s not. Definitely creamy. I didn’t zoom in on the legs before buying them. They look solid in their pics, but they have slats. I zoomed in to the picture and now see there are slats, only visible with zooming way in. No clue what those are for. Maybe if it serves a function it’ll make sense, but it totally takes away from a clean modern bed frame and instead I obviously have cheap metal. We went back and forth on whether the foam mattress would need extra support because the slats are far apart, thin, and not a strong metal. We ended getting a board to help support the mattress. My husband put them together and we had thrown away the boxes before I saw them. I’m disappointed and should have paid a lot more attention to the pics. We’re using these in a guest room and nobody will probably care that the look isn’t what it could be. Since adults will be using the beds, ensuring they’re stable is important. The only other caveat to pay attention to is it’s tall. We ordered 12” mattresses so the beds are pretty high. Part of the issues are my expectations based on pictures I should have zoomed on before buying. I hope the metal is strong enough. ... show more
