I was originally going to give this product 4 stars, but felt that it was also fair to give it 5. I have worn it and washed it (in a garment bag and hung up to dry) several times. It appears well made with good workmanship. The hook and eye closure is nice, the stitching is neat. The material held up well to being washed. I purchased my bra size and it was a perfect fit. This bodysuit is designed to fit snuggly and smoothly over you, but not to flatten or really squeeze. So if that is what you want, I would not purchase this product for that one reason. What I really wanted was a tighter squeeze, but after searching for very long I have concluded that those come in a completely different price bracket and wanted to give this a try instead. For the price that I paid, it was a great deal actually - you get a bra, a camisole and a panty, basically, all stitched into one garment for under $30. That's pretty good. As far as bras go, it is a pretty decent one - good sizing and very nearly no show. Like, someone would have to actively stare at my breasts in a tight shirt on a really cold day to spot anything. So I feel confident in wearing it. One thing I don't like is the panty lines. I do think that there is no such thing as a no-show panty, unless it is a thong, but I just wanted to point out that this will definitely cause them in case you thought otherwise. ... show more

I looked every where for a convertible strapless shapewear and this was the only one that the cups supported my chest and didn't fall down like others. The cups are lightly lined, stayed up and supported well without the straps. I wore this as a bodysuit with slack and a jacket over and it looked great. As for the shapewear it is a gentle hold not as firm or tight as I wanted but it was comfortable to wear all day. Great for shorter torso, petite shaped women. I am new at buying and wearing shapewear. I wore this model for 8 hours today. Overall it's comfortable. I did do quite some bending and moving around in it. The bottom portion has nice fabric, is breathable and snug. It holds in your tummy. The hook opening in the back for the bra portion certainly helps to put this garment on. However, I needed help getting it done as it is very strong and tight. I tried closing it on my own for 20 min. and did not succeed. It only minimally pinches where the thigh meets the bottom. The cup size is off. I am a 38D, ordered that size and this is definitely too big. There is room all around and definitely felt like I am not wearing a bra at all. The Brastraps do come off, which I like, but the angle they are in cuts into my front shoulder by the armpit. It would also be extremely helpful if the hooks between the legs would be flipped. The hooks that need to go in the loop, are on the flap coming from the back bottom. Not only can you barely reach between to reach that flap, but you can't see anything there either. It is difficult to close that way. If the hooks would be on the front flap portion and the loops on the back bottom portion, it would be so much easier. If I would have ordered a smaller size, it would have been too small overall. I ordered several different ones before and had to send them back. So I am going to deal with the bra being too big, as it is one of the first ones that actually otherwise fit and does the job. ... show more

Well, this was a character building experience. I purchased this garment to wear under a "fancy" dress for an upcoming event. I needed something with a low back and that could be worn strapless - both features of this garment. The shapewear element is a bonus feature, because having a smoother look under the fancy garment is all the better, right? I have several Maidenform bras, which I wear regularly, so I ordered this garment in the same size. This is where the character building comes in... I receive the garment and try it on, or attempt to. The cup size in the bra part is perfect, but the rest is a struggle. I pull the garment on by stepping in and pulling it up. It definitely smoothed out the tummy area, and the hips, but the extra hip flab all got squeezed up into the low back opening - sexy, no? And I could not, with no amount of trying, fasten the bra band behind my back (keep in mind, I wear this same size in Maidenform bras). To get the bra band fastened, I had to fasten it BEFORE stepping into the garment - extra points for difficulty and even more unwanted flab shifting with that maneuver. I could probably achieve a better fit if I asked for help getting into this garment - a second person to tug and tuck - but I cannot imagine asking anyone to help with that. As the saying goes, "Nobody needs to see that!" As you might've guessed by now, I don't normally wear a lot of shapewear. This particular garment seems really well made, I was just caught off guard by how snug the bra band fits and just how challenging it is for me to get into it and achieve a flattering silhouette. I really don't think sizing up would have been the right move, given the cup size is spot on. The jury is out on whether I'll be wearing this for the upcoming event, but I will give it the old college try! ... show more

    • Ridiculously short in torso!

Ordered this item in a (band) size larger than normal and usual cup size. Although all shapewear is usually snug, this garment is like an actual torture chamber to put on! The torso length would only fit a midget. I am 5'7" and after stepping into the garment, the cups came about up to my waist. I un-did the hooks at the bottom thinking I could buy an extender to lengthen the torso, and pulled the cups up to the proper position. The cups were the only thing that actually fit fine. I specifically ordered this garment because I needed a low backed strapless bra for a wedding dress but the set of about 8 hooks on the back was completely impossible to hook on your own, and even going up a size in the band, was about 6" too short. When I finally had my daughter do the hooks, the back of the garment was lumpy, bumpy, encouraged muffin top and exaggerated back fat. I could not wait to take it off and return. Epic fail. The only person I could see wearing this garment would be a stick-thin person with an extremely short torso. But why would you need this then? I would look elsewhere if you are over a size 6! ... show more

    • Sexy and comfortable
Because I fall between a C and D and between a 36 and 38 and don't really have a "usual size", I ordered three sizes: 36C; 38C; and 36D. Any of them would have worked but I chose to keep the 36D because it held in my tummy slightly tighter than the 38. I chose the D over the C cup simply out of vanity and there really was no detectable difference. Because I found another body shaper in a beige that went perfectly under my white tops, I got this body shaper in black to go under my non-white/-light colored clothing. It looks and feels sexy, it's comfortable, it's smooth under clothing, and it fits and supports in all the right places... no butt indentations, no back fat, no tummy rolls. I'm afraid I'll wear it out wearing it so frequently so I'll have to get another one soon in case they discontinue it or change it in the future. (I also got and love the Bali Women’s Shapewear Firm Control Ultra Light Built-in Bra Lace Body Shaper Briefer Fajas DF6552, in nude 36C, and it's great under light-colored clothing. The lace is feminine, the shaper makes my chest look great, and it's equally comfortable.) ... show more

I am a true 34D and that’s what I ordered. However, this was nearly impossible to close around my top. It was so difficult not only because it was way too small, but to get the hook and eye closures all lined up was incredibly difficult. My wrists hurt afterward. The snaps in the crotch are extremely uncomfortable. I am 5’9” so I would have liked an option to make the whole unit longer. The tightness in my belly was fine, but I felt I had to keep pulling up the back (even though I really couldn’t move it at all being as tall as I am). I had my boyfriend on front duty as the front cups seemed to not be as low cut as I had hoped and they were showing beneath my dress. I wore this without the neck strap as my dress would not have covered it. I typically like this brand, but this was not the right anything for me. ... show more

    • Well made and great design
The style of this is perfect... especially if you like to wear V-necked tops. It is low enough that I have never had a problem with it showing. The cups are thick enough to prevent anything from showing thru, but are not "padded" which is perfect. The straps are not too wide, but they also do not dig into the shoulders. The overall feel is soft, but supportive. - I wear this everyday, but I have cut the crotch out to make it a camisole. It is much more comfortable than a bra and offers slimming too. It would be wonderful if they would come out with a camisole version. ... show more
