I was drawn to the Alaffia products because of their ingredients and the mission they are tied to. We have tried several. This shampoo definitely feels thick, lathers well, and leaves our hair feeling literally squeaky clean. I also love being able to pump it, and the lavender smell is great (but coconut is my fave). My only reason for giving it four stars is simply because you have to really ensure you rinse very well. Because it is so thick, I’ve noticed it takes a little extra effort. Overall, my whole fam is still very pleased.

this is probably the best natural shampoo i’ve used. other shampoos that i’ve used with no sulfates or parabens would leave my hair heavy, oily, and visibly greasy (i have naturally straight hair, so it is very noticeable). i’ve found it works best for my hair when i shampoo twice and really make sure to get all of it out. the mint smell is really nice and leaves my hair feeling soft. my only complaint is that after i wash it out, it makes my hair feel “squeaky” clean. but as soon as my hair is dry, it goes away

The shampoo is fine. I like it. Delivery was the problem. Or to be clearer, packaging was not good enough. So shampoo leaked in box and all over the packaging. I'd return it but I need shampoo now. Don't have time to wait for a new one. And most of it is still in the bottle

I find this shampoo too drying for my hair. I've used it 3 times and my hair texture feels coarse; I have soft, wavy, fine, short hair. Also, after each use, my hands broke out with small bumps from an allergic reaction; not sure which ingredient caused this.
