The sound out of this little thing is amazing… and it can get quite loud too. It isn’t going to produce floor shaking bass (size), but it sounds great nonetheless. Wow!!!! Get this bluetooth speaker and get ready for some incredible sound. It has both excellent treble and how could you believe the bass that comes out of this little thing. Don't make the mistake that I made and only buy just one. Nice sound quality. I don’t give it a 5 stars because of the weight. It’s a little bit heavy for its size. Also own a JBL Clip 4, almost same sound but it is much more handy and the clip is a plus and gave it to my son. Both are water resistant. I am happy with it anyway.

At least initially, this speaker has great, impressive sound. It is loud. Battery life is always hard to judge early on. The test is what battery life is like in six months. This is a great, high quality speaker that has great sound! I love its shape and color, and it is the perfect hand held size! It’s super easy to connect your phone to the speaker with Bluetooth. It has really good battery life too! It stays charged for a really long time. In fact, I’ve had mine for two months now and haven’t had to charge it. Tweak your phone sound settings and also equalizer settings in soundcore app to get the best. Let it burn in at high volume for few hours. You will get the best out of it. If you are coming from JBL flip series or even Sony you will be slightly disappointed at how it sounds out of the box. This is my second review of the Soundcore 3. My first review was based on a connectivity issue which was noted by Anker and prompted them to contact me. They resolved the issue quickly and thoughtfully. I’ve never had any company reach out like that. I’ve always been intrigued by small things that perform in surprising ways. When Bluetooth speakers first became available I was intrigued; what quality of sound could be expected from small and unobtrusive speakers? I’ve had a lot of fun finding out. Over the years I’ve occasionally updated my Bluetooth speaker based on newer models becoming better and better, particularly with bass response. Lately I’ve had a chance to listen to several current models in the $150.00 and below price range, including Sony, Bose, Tribit, JBL Flip 5, and Soundcore 3. The Soundcore 3 is the clear winner. The highs, mid range and bass are all impressive, but the bass response is really surprising. Many Bluetooth speakers sacrifice highs and mid range for a muffled, muddy bass, reducing the entire sound to an unsatisfying mess. Not so with the Soundcore 3 which provides very clear partitions between all ranges and a very, very clean bass. The first time I listened to a song with a low, bass drone, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It was a composition that I was familiar with. I didn’t know it had a bass drone before. As one online reviewer put it “The Soundcore 3 should not sound as good as it does.” I couldn’t agree more. So yes, the Soundcore 3 is the best Bluetooth speaker available in the sub $150.00 range, by far. It’s small enough to be almost unnoticed in a room, but fills the room with very satisfying, rich sound. ... show more
