Overall the rack is good quality. It's *sturdy enough* for what I'm using it for - simple barbell bench press and squats. If you do attempt to use the dip bars, the product isn't very sturdy as previous reviews have indicated and you would need to counter weight the support legs with sand bags or dumbells. But, it's a minor inconvenience. The rack doesn't take up much space which is great for our space and I like that the width is adjustable. I had some minor issues with one of the round head bolts and one of the adjustable groups, but their customer service team was incredibly responsive to my concerns for replacement parts and I had them in had just a few days after contacting them. Super happy with that and overall very happy with this product!

Perfect for the home gym set up. Easy to move, easy to put together. I think it took longer to unpack than to put together. Feels solid while benching with either my 60 inch bar or full size barbell. Quick knob adjustment to do tricep dips or leave the bar on and do pull ups from underneath(vertical not standing pullups). I like it so far and with my bench separate, lots of options.

This rack is well made and generally sturdy however, it does wobble a bit. I think the feet are too short -- adding about 12 inches to each foot would make it very sturdy. I did put two kettle bells on the bottom handles of the rack and another bar on the reverse side and this has helped. Also, while assembly is not difficult; the instructions are very limited and a bit obtuse. Suggest they be revised and improved. I think this rack would be suitable for about 200 - 250 lbs. So, for home use and, for a max of about 200 lbs. - this is a very good choice - I think best for bench press -- not sure about squats.

The instructions are useless and seem almost intentionally confusing, which probably reflects the overall poor design behind this product. 1. It smells awful, like creosote 2. Parts of it were rusted 3. It is only stable if you rack weight with the collars facing forward as it has no stability on the short part of the legs (extending the legs in both directions would have easily solved this problem, so again back to the poor design) 4. The adjustable beams join where you'd want the most flexibility for bench press, basically limiting you to a position that is too high or too low I'm not returning it, because that would be more frustration. It's currently working fine enough to do bench press and squats. Do more research before purchasing, I wish I did.

This rack is ‘exactly’ what I was looking for! So, I have this Trap Bar (aka a Hex Bar) that I was initially using to help rehab my back from a herniated disc but now I’m using it for a whole plethora of weight training exercises. Well, it turns out I got hooked on weights. I used to be an all bodyweight/kickboxing HIIT person. But now I’ve happily integrated Olympic weights into my overall fitness programs and lifestyle—quite frankly, I’m surprised I didn’t do it sooner. Anyway, as I quickly built up my home gym weight room, I knew that I needed a squat rack. Not one of those massive power racks that one of my buddies have. I just don’t have the room or the need for that. On a whim I did a Google search and came across a bunch of models. But what I needed was for the rack to be adjustable on the fly and have safety stanchions that I can use to rack the Trap Bar for both storage and for Floor Presses. And it be compact enough to fit in my small space in my basement set aside for weight training. [See attached image.] And this puppy works beautifully for that! Also, I really love the dipping handles, which works great for weighted tricep dips. [See attached image.] The adjustable height and width of the rack is indispensable for my needs. Now others have pointed out that the Safety Knots (those spring-enabled bolts that secure the adjustable parts of the rack) kind of break. I haven’t discovered that yet but one of them tends to loosen. Not a biggie as it is the bottom one for the adjustable width of the rack. Also, when assembling the whole rack, be sure to have your own tools handy. The ones included aren’t as efficient as your own. This also means having a rubber mallet handy to knock the bottom angled supports into place to line up with the bolt holes. Fortunately, I have one (doesn’t everybody?) so it was no biggie for me. I think the instructions say it’s a two-person job to assemble it but with some creative finagling you can do it by yourself, as I did. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. [See attached image.] Overall, it is rock solid stable for racking the bar and for doing the dips. Plus, it doesn’t weigh too much so I’m able to move it around in my weight room for different exercises like the Floor Press. Oh, and the lower dip handles are useful for Ab- and Core/Legs-related exercises like Pull Throughs and Glute Bridges. I can also use it to rack the Trap Bar for Shoulder Presses. It looks a little weird but it works swimmingly. Interestingly enough, I don’t need to use the rack for Squats. I use the Trap Bar for that, starting from the floor. Couple this piece of equipment with a compact utility bench and you’ve got the best of all possible worlds for the home gym that covers a nearly endless array of exercises. I’m training for a Spartan Race and this squat rack is a great piece of equipment to help me prepare for that challenge, and keep me fit overall.

I love this rack. I’ve had it a few days and am impressed. I love how sturdy it is and it’s easy enough to adjust. It does what I need it to do. 1) bench rack - perfect for my needs. I love it’s sturdiness. 2) squat rack - stable - and easy to use. I thought it would be hard to squat with that bottom bar in the way but if it’s assembled properly - you just walk up to it, and can position yourself under the bar with no problem. It’s only when you come in from the other side it won’t work right. But why would anyone do that? So my concerns were alleviated once I had it set up and tried it out. This is a solid enough squat rack for me and my son. I use a couple of saw horses for safety when squaring alone. 3) Dips. Dips are great! I’m a big guy 6 foot over 200 lbs. I can dip on this thing well when it is adjusted all the way in. No problems for dips at all. I haven’t tried weighted dips yet. That’s about it! Great piece of equipment for the price!
