Spent my entire adult life using Duralast Gold or now, Duralast Elite pads. Purchased these Akebono pads and could immediately tell a difference in the build quality. Much better than in the past. Excellent stopping and very quiet.

    • Great Long-Lasting Pads, with No Break-In Period
I've been using the Akebono Ultra-Premium Ceramic pads for years; Toyota Solara, Chrysler Pacifica, BMW 528i, Ford Mustang, Dodge Charger, etc., all with good success. Today I used them on my sisters 2011 Honda Element. Exercise caution for this application as the kit comes with eight (8) caliper/pad shims, and per AllData DIY, the upper and lower shims are not the same. Therefore it's best to remove the lower shim first, find a match, and reinstall. Then find a match for the upper shim, and install, before moving on to the other side. Easy to install, they work well and are noise free. I have used Akebono on all my vehicles and they are always better than the OEM. No brake dust is a bonus.

Excellent fit and quality of construction. It comes with two different sets of clips and springs, so be sure to use the right ones for the calipers on your vehicle.

Great price and shipped to my door, what else could you ask for. These are legit Akebono pads. No one nearby sells these and stocks them, and if they order they wanted at least $30 more than Amazon. If you know what you need just but them from Amazon.

No dislikes on this product. It’s a great replacement for stock pads, quiet. So far not much brake dust. Stops like normal and perfect for what I’m doing
