    • Fit not perfect, needed to file notches.
While these appear to be very good quality brake pads, they didn’t fit my calipers without some filing. I had to file a few thousandths out the notches on the pads to get them on the calipers. They seem to be doing well at about 100 miles of mixed driving on them.

    • Great brake pads except............
they're NOT for the front of a 1998 Buick Century, they're for the rear! And unless I missed it, there's no mention of them being for the rear, even though Amazon's check tool says they fit. It apparently doesn't distinguish between front & rear pads. They're about 1/2 the size of the fronts, which have Akebono's on now. And who knew that some 1998 Buick Centurys have rear disc brakes!!! So make sure you get the right ones. Wound up returning them (thank you Amazon) and got Bendix Fleet pads instead. We'll see how they do. ... show more
