  • Best money I’ve ever spent
This is the first review I’ve ever left after being an Amazon customer for years. People... this is the best $29 I’ve ever spent. I live in Florida (read hotter than the depths of hell), and this cooler has kept ice going on 5 days in 80-90 heat. I haven’t added extra ice. I’m just floored to be honest... My sister-in-law just bought an brand new Artic cooler and on our recent camping trip, she needed to add ice to hers after 24 hours. My cooler is still going strong. Seriously, if you had any doubts, don’t. Go get yourself one... you won’t be sorry! ... show more

  • If you want it to work best keep it inside
Bang for buck this thing is totally worth it. If you want it to work best keep it inside, in the AC, for a day before you use it, and for best results put a bag of ice in it for 24 hours before hand so that it's already nice and cool. You can easily keep ice for 5 days if it is already cooled down.

  • So many things wrong. I would send it back but it's too late
This looked great and has all of the features I wanted. But the build quality is so poor. What went wrong? 1: The wheel fell off after 2 days of light use. It's held on with a cheap, press fit washer. And nothing holds the axle centered. I had to spend an hour drilling holes in the axle for kotter keys. This should work, I hope. 2: 5 days of ice? Not a snowball's chance. I had to drain and refresh daily. Why? The lid seals poorly. Look at the picture. I put a light in the cooler and firmly closed the lid and the picture above shows the result. Looks like a 1/32 or more gap. There is no gasket of any kind; just poorly fit hard plastic. 3: Even though it seals poorly, the lid is hard to open once sealed. It also isn't terribly easy to close, but a firm shove will do it. 4: The pull handle feels very flimsy, like something off of very cheap luggage. I hope this part holds together, but I'm not optimistic. I bought this before covid and then it sat for 3 months. Now it's well past the 30 days, so I'll keep it. But I hope somebody can be saved from my mistake. ... show more

  • Looks great! Bigger than expected!
Great cooler. We havent used it yet, so hopefully the insulation is great for long use. The wheels are sturdy and appears as though it can pull through sand. There are 4 cup holders on top. Pull up handle to wheel the cooler around. Also there is a snout drain in the back bottom to drain melted liquids out. The color is also a nice touch! ... show more

  • Cooler works great and holds ice for a long time compared to ...
Cooler works great and holds ice for a long time compared to other coolers. Yes you can sit on this cooler as it does not have a hollow lid. The only problem as others have mentioned is that the valve cover opens downward and it does get caught on the terrain while wheeling the cooler. Ours popped open the first time we used it while rolling to our campsite and it got a little beat up on that one trip. Luckily it still fits back in the hole and works to hold water. The old version of this cooler had the valve cover that opened upwards and I had it for 5 years and it never accidentally opened while rolling. Coleman needs to address this problem to get a 5 star rating. ... show more

  • Works well
Took this on a 12 hour road trip. When we arrived at the destination, our frozen food was still frozen. Based on that use case, I give it 5 stars. Fits a lot of food too.

  • does keep ice frozen... somewhat
tested by putting 2 frozen bottles of water over night. the next morning it was almost melted. Then for our trip we put 2 5lbs bags with our groceries and kept it closed for 24 hours. when we opened it the ice had melted about 25%. our frozen veggies were kind of a slush, kind of thawed but still has ice crystals. I'm satisfied for the price i payed. we dont use a cooler very often, so i believe this was good for us :) i think that a 5 star appropriate for the product and price... ... show more

  • sturdy and awesome cooler
sturdy and awesome cooler. Keeps drinks and groceries cool for quite some time, even on the 95 degree beach trips. We had a 6-8lb bag of ice and bunch of drinks, beer, and juices. From 10am until 6pm i still had more than half of bag of ice (keep in mind we opened cooler quite often during day)
