Our ducks love it! I purposely left out the insulation for now as we're hittin triple digits temperatures but the velcro make for the simplest addition or removal! Insulation is thick too! My ducks have plenty of room & enjoy hangin out in it. They're obviously not full grown yet, but there is NO worry it'll be too small once they get there! There's room for their bed and their food and water w/o being so close i'll have to worry bout it all spilling over! The roofing seems sturdy and putting this together was a breeze! The floor comes apart easily for quick cleaning & the plastic covered windows make for a nice amout of light to come in so they arent just in a cute box! This was/is a fantastic buy!!! The wood isnt flimsy and its a solid medium sized dog house with a small opening for a small dog to have a lot of room. No way my small pit could fit inside. Still great! No missing pieces, all edges lined up correctly! This is not a buy you'll regret! Cant wait to see how it fares in the snow!! ... show more

This is an awesome little house. It’s well insulated and I hope that my little dogs will use and enjoy it for years to come. However, according to instructions, average assembly time is half an hour. Maybe there’s a NASA engineer out there, wise in the ways of assembling ‘some assembly required’ projects, but my sister and I are no such talents. This required, for us, an entire afternoon of losing the screws, looking for the screws, making mistakes, noticing the mistakes and taking it apart to go back and fix them, taking frustration breaks, going back in and losing the pieces we needed, going back to look for the right pieces, only to lose the tools we needed, and so on. This is not a dog house for a big dog. I got this together and it’s great for small dogs. My chihuahuas and Dotson are the right size for it. Now I’m out the money I spent on this and have to find a dog house for a big dog.

1. I put this together by myself, only one part was tricky, but it does say 2 people. So if you're not impatient, it would be super easy to build with an extra hand! 2. Add some lights, and it's ready for Christmas! 3. We opted to not install the plastic for flaps. (This is staying indoors anyway.)
