Feoxialy 40 piece roads magnetic tiles set is nice. I have been teaching Pre-K for over 10 years and have a massive collection of magnetic tiles including 118 sets from Amazon alone. Let's compare this one. These tiles are standard size and fully compatible with your standard sized collection. Let's look at accuracy of the ad. The pictures show many multiple sets and you will not be able to build what you see there. The video is accurate and the picture on the box itself with the list of pieces is spot on. Refer to pictures above for list of exact pieces included and what can be built with this set. I consider this an extension set and not stand alone due to it's small size. Let's look at aesthetics and pieces included. The colors on these are bright and the middles of the tiles are free from any structure enhancing walls of any kind. The middles have flex and will bend when stepped on by your students. The surfaces of these tiles are quite flat without indented middles, lending themselves to make fairly bump free roads even with the colored tiles. I was a bit disappointed in the specialty printed road tiles. The road lines don't go all the way to the edges of the tiles so these will leave dashed line roads when built with. There are also only two curves here so your little will not be able to build a continuous track to zoom around without purchasing more. The specialty tiles here are printed on one side only which is pretty common. There are 11 half square/fence sized pieces included. These frequently have polarity issues when built with as I found with this set as well. That problem is common, and if you simply flip the piece end for end it should remedy itself. The train/car piece works well and should attach to most of your other train cars. Though I have a few sets with large couplers that do not go together, this car appears to have the smaller coupler that will fit in all the loops. I tested magnetism. To test magnetism, I dangle a line of squares off a single square to see how many it will hold. All my 100+ sets test between a weak 5 tiles to a snappy 8 tiles long. The vast majority of companies fall in the 6-7 range which I consider average. This set tested out at 6 tiles long and is average/slightly below average magnetism. I also test to see if the edges are flat and square to build straight walls. These are. Thickness is also average. I consider magnetic tiles to be one of the best learning toys for Pre-K. These are open-ended manipulatives that foster STEM learning and support many learning targets for Pre-K students. They are engaging and kids never tire of these. Add some cars, people, rocks and trees and watch a whole new realm of play unfold. These toys are one of the very few that stay out on the classroom shelf all year. I have been collecting for years and few have broken under classroom conditions and abuse. Magnetic tiles, in general, are a very sound investment for your little learner. OVERVIEW: This set is quite small with average magnetism. The road tile printed details don't go all the way to the edge which makes non-continuous road lines. All the tiles are nice and flat which are great for road building and running cars on. The ad is misleading as to quantity. The colors are well done and the train car is an asset. The two road signs are a bonus as well.

This was a great addition to the small set of magnetic tiles I already have. Our favorite was the ability to build a car and use the roads. There are so many possibilities now. It fits right in with my other two sets so well that I am not even sure which pieces go in which box when picking it up. This is a great set and I would recommend it as a first set, if your child is obsessed with cars.

This is a fantastic add-on set for magnetic tiles. I'm amazed at how much fun my son has playing with these on his own! He gets so creative, designing various scenes. The tiles are of great quality and easy to use. I highly recommend them

Make sure to look at all the photos...the last picture shows exactly how many pieces you get. You only get a few of the road pieces. Not worth it at all.
