I gave 4 stars, I would have given 5 but there’s a couple minor things that I’m ok with, but others may not be. Actually, I’m editing it to a 5 ⭐️🤣 cause I definitely love the purchase and quality especially for the price! For starters, it’s a great purchase and I would buy it again if needed. Comes exactly as it’s shown, I believe mine even came a couple days sooner. Didn’t seem like it would be completely sturdy when I started building it, but by the end it definitely is. It’s super cute, I love it. It says 2 people to build it, I built it by myself in about an hour and a half, however would have been a lot quicker if I wasn’t doing it outside in the dark and plus I stopped a couple times to text my children 😅 I’d say easily done in an hour or less. Easy instructions, easy to assemble. “Issues”. As I said, nothing that would prevent me from purchasing again. Some of the paint was scratched/faded off in small spots. Still looks good overall. Screwing in a couple pieces on the thin wood, splintered the wood. Specifically a spot I remember is the “ramp” thing, screwing in the screws there splintered. I don’t think it will be a problem in the long run affecting its function. Only other thing I can remember is the shingled “cap” that goes in the middle of the 2 shingled pieces, didn’t completely connect to the other 2 pieces. Still looks good, still screwed in just fine, I think the dowels were just a little off lined. Definitely recommend especially for the price and I read you can add attachments! ... show more

I ordered this coop to temporarily house my 3 chickens while we built a coop for them. These prefab coops aren’t that sturdy and don’t last more than a season or two. This was pretty easy to assemble and kept the chickens safe/dry while I had it. A couple pieces were a little cracked or broken. I wouldn’t put more than 3 chickens in here. ... show more

I think it's just expected that you'll probably get a few broken pieces from shipping with these. I did get some Parts that broke but nothing I could not fix with a little wood glue. Construction of the coup was a bit difficult due to no instructions being included but I'm good at carpentry and figured it out ok. Seems like the screw selection is a bit off though. Not real impressed with the "press board" roof pieces and nesting box bottom. I have a feeling those won't last long but time will tell. The ramp is at least made of solid wood. All in all a decent coup and I may buy the expansion for it if it holds up well. ... show more

This is great for 2-4 chickens, sturdy and designed well and the assembly was very easy. All the parts fit together properly and everything was square. Instructions were accurate. I purchased this to house my chicks until they are big enough to be integrated with the rest of the flock. I May convert to a rabbit hutch once the chicks are grown. To make sure it lasts I plan to keep it in the shed Vs in the weather. I would consider buying several of these for a larger chicken condo complex. 😂 ... show more

We are backyard chicken coop owners. My husband put this together, although it took an hour or so he got it together and it works perfectly. It is rather flimsy & we put a bar to push the coop door closed so no creatures can get in and slide the door open. The locks are spring loaded which is a good thing. I needed a safe place for my young guineas, as we have predators around here at night. I have 4 young ones it it now. The coop is pretty sturdy, and my birds really like the sleeping area It was fairly easy to put together. The only drawback to this coop, is not enough run area at the bottom. I bought some chicken wire, to extend a play area for them. For the money, it's ok. I suggest building a extra run area, if you have birds larger than bantams. ... show more

We received the coop and immediately put it together. Very easy to assemble, my 12 yr old grandson did most of the work. The only 2 negative things I would say is as follows: 1) No air flow vents in the coop and 2) the chicken ramp is very steep so some of the smaller birds cannot get up it right now but they are learning. ... show more
