I have severe hearing loss in my left ear, so only purchased for one ear. I am also new to this, my hearing loss occurred in July '23. It does take some time to get used to (for me), but the app the company uses (AcoSound) is easy to use. Take the time to read through the instructions and the app. I had my best success with using Pro Fitting AFTER entering in my most recent actual audio test to the app. The company also has 24/7 support, and you should check out their main website as well. They are comfortable for all day wear, I am pretty active and have had no issue with it becoming dislodged or uncomfortable. I would recommend trying out the inner ear caps to make sure you get exactly the right one to prevent feedback. Another plus is I haven't had to change the battery as much as predicted, and I wear it about 10-12 hours a day. ... show more

    • Disconnects constantly from the app!

I purchased these hoping for better quality and better directional hearing. The behind the ear model I tried let me hear people behind me better than in front of me. These were easy to set up and use EXCEPT the Bluetooth connection to the app on my iPhone 14 drops one or both ears consistently and the quality of the sound drops dramatically and then I get screeching in the ear or ears that disconnected. I have tried over and over again and it continues to disconnect so I am returning them. If the app worked properly and didn't disconnect AT ALL I would have kept them. Also I have tried multiple ear tips and none are all day comfortable. I am now trying the much more expensive Sennheiser behind the ear model. I will review that one after use. ... show more

Using my phone I could set it OK, after many many tries. The sound was very acceptable, but no entirely OK. My problem was that I could not find tubes that fit my ear canal properly, so the unit was always visible. Over time, whatever tube I use would become loose. I think my ear canals are narrower than the average. By the way, the device for the left ear only. I gave this a very good try, but in the end it was a no go. Sorry. Great delivery and service. Had trouble with 1 aid and customer service promptly sent another. Gave help programing and setup. I have used prescription aids for 5 years and these perform just as good for me.
