Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ve been really happy with this AISITIN 2.8W solar fountain! It was super easy to set up—just drop the pump in water, place the panel in direct sun, and it starts working almost immediately. The spray options are a fun touch with the 6 included nozzles, and it adds a relaxing sound to my garden. Birds are constantly stopping by now! The separate solar panel with a 3.9ft cord is a nice bonus—it lets you keep the fountain shaded while putting the panel where it gets the most sun. Just note: it needs full sunlight to run well, doesn’t store power for night use, and may need cleaning every few days to stay strong. Worked great then the solar top turned white and it stopped running. Will not charge in the sunlight. I picked it because it had a solar panel to pur the birdbath in the yard not by a plug.

The media could not be loaded. This works so very well and it keeps running as long as the sun’s up and it’s not in the shade. I am so happy with this my dogs like to drink the water from it, which cracks me up I am going to be moving it to a deeper Fountain because it’s hot in the water keeps evaporating in the birdbath, but it’s so pretty I especially like the one where the fountain twirls the water. It’s cute! Love having a little fountain to create water movement. It works quite well!! I ended up not using an attachment for the water spout because when it’s windy the water just blows right out of the bird bath lol. Without the attachment the fountain doesn’t go as high and hasn’t been an issue. Would definitely buy it again! ... show more

Works the same as the much cheaper 1.4W units. The spinning top doesn't spin even in bright socal sunlight and the pump seems weaker than a year old cheaper version. The adjustable arms aren't long enough for the pot we used it in so the cheap plastic arms make more sense. Overall disappointing for the higher price but we will see how long it lasts ... show more
