This is my first time ever buying an air conditioner and I’m super satisfied with this one! I got the 8,000 BTU and it worked perfect for my cabin on a camping trip and kept me and my family cool. It has the option of air conditioning, dehumidifying and just fan and they all work great. I have used it in my bedroom which is a bit of a larger room and I’ve noticed it doesn’t cool as great as it does in a smaller room. I would recommend getting the 10,000 btu if you are trying to cool a bigger room in your house. I am still very satisfied with the product. The installation was difficult for me with the foam pieces and the other plastic attachments that form together for the window won’t fit in my window so I just use the piece with the hole. The remote works well too. The air conditioner doesn’t make much noise at all and if it does I think the issue is it just needs to be drained which I’ve been doing frequently to keep it intact for as long as possible(at least once a week). The air conditioner itself looks great and not tacky and the led light on the front to tell you what temperature it is makes it look higher tech and classy if you will lol. When you turn it on too it’s just like the videos and (excuse my lack of wording lol) air dispenser opens up automatically and it looks so cool! My only wish is I wish it had handle bars for carrying up and down stairs but it has wheels that I’m happy about. There’s sorta pockets on the machine to carry it kinda but they’re not the best for carrying. My overall review is for the price- the quality is outstanding and you would’ve thought this was a 500-600 dollar air conditioner. I bought this portable AC for my home office and bedroom area upstairs. As one of the many WFH people I now need to spend a lot of time at home and keep air conditioner on all the time for the whole house is not the most energy efficient way, and my home AC quit working in the hottest day 3-year in row! Got this unit last week and so far it's doing a fantastic job. Shipping is very fast. Installation took less than 10 mins and very straightforward. The board used on the window is adjustable so don't be nervous - I was for a second. Power on and that's it. I started to feel the cool air immediately and the room temperature starts to drop after 10 mins or so. I also like the remote control - don't have to walk away from the Zoom calls to make any adjustment as I was used to. The unit itself looks clean and high-end. Definitely a statement piece in the WFH time! It's not a cheap product. If you had similar experience of calling for & waiting for AC contractor to help in 90F+ days, you'd agree with me that the price is very reasonable for a life-saving back-up, or an smart/alternative way to cool down part of your house. ... show more

    • Works very well to cool are large master bedroom but did have a few issues.

At first this AC worked great and cooled out large master bedroom perfectly. We did run into some issues about a month and a half in though. It appeared that the temperature gauge in it was malfunctioning. We had it set to 68 degrees but it would shut off well before the room cooled to that temperature. Then, the fan or motor started making a grinding noise while in use. You could hear it was going to break. Then finally the AC and the fan portion would just shut off after a period of time, randomly. You could still see the display but nothing else functioned at all. That being said, the manufacturer was very easy to deal with and shipped out a replacement with no hesitation. Shipping the original unit back is required (duh) but you simply use the replacement's box and they issue a shipping label. Easy Peezy other than getting it to UPS since it is heavy. So far the new unit is running great! ... show more

I live in the northeast on one of the Great Lakes and don’t need an air conditioner much in the summer so I ordered this on 7/19/22. By the time it arrived I used it 9 times and it worked fine. I slid it 10’ to a closet to store it for the winter. Reconnected it two days ago and it’s now not cooling. No condensate coming out of the drain tube. I seems as though the compressor is coming on but the air coming out is only slightly cooler than the room air which is now 80*, up from 77 two hours ago. Outside air temp is 87. 3yr Warrantee. Not a year in yet. Called the 800#. VM. Got and email from them asking for more info which I sent. We’ll see how they are about after the sale service and will update more. For now 1 star… UPDATE 1: They replied to my email and had me test a couple of other things which I did and replied back. So far no response yet. Still not working and it’s summer time. UPDATE 2 (FINAL): They came through and shipped out a new unit which I received and it works BUT, I’d be wary. I went to register this new unit and the website listed on the card is defunct - there’s nowhere to register for the warranty which is only one year now, not three. So if it doesn’t work after your first summer you’re SOL. BTW - no word on what to do with the old unit - landfill I’m guessing… ... show more
